Lightining Rod

I feel like this might get some push back, but I absolutely hate saving up my Dark Elixir, and then having someone drop 4 lightning spells on the thing and destroying it. I think it be cool if there were something like a lightning rod that protected maybe a small radius from a lightning attack. Just something that would attach to one building at a time to maybe protect the one resource. That way, if someone really needed to raid your DE, they would have to do a full assault to earn it, not just drop some spells and steal my stuff!

Just an idea. Would love to hear some feedback or ideas to better it. Thanks.

EDIT: Posted this and thought maybe it was an original idea. Turns out, it's on the forums (I don't come on here that often). Sorry for posting. Can't figure out how to delete.

I absolutely hate having my DE lightninged too, however this is just how the game works.

Can any thread containing the words "lightning rod" be auto deleted? Maybe get a bot to do it! Seriously though, the search function is on the forums for a reason!

I got zapped for the first time in months. 4 bolts. 650 de. Big whoop. I get 2k per raid minimum. I earn 600 from drills in like a few hours. They are hardly a problem, especially here in Crystal.

I'm extremely sick and tired of these posts they are so annoying. You should zap them back or revenge them it's not that hard jeez
