Troops That Don't Die In Battle Should Return to Your Camps:

For a long time I have been thinking that if your troops that don't die in battle should be "recycled" and returned to your army camps, not unlike super cell's game Boom Beach. Now, the troop return policy wouldn't have to be the same as Boom Beach's.

• The troops wouldn't return to the camps unless they had, let's say, 50% of their health remaining
• The troops that could return wouldn't return unless you payed for, let's say, half of their total training cost. (Possible return button on loot and troops used page)
• Troops could return to hospital where it takes, let's say, 1/4 the traing time to retrain or "revive" the troops that qualify(see above) for revival.
• The troops that were in your clan castle would not return.
• The troops used in war that still had the required percentage of hit points would not return. (So the war environment stays the same)
• The troops, not like Boom Beach, could come back with their health remaining and not full health. (This may help with people over abusing the power to bring back troops.

it's on SC's "under consideration" section

but I think it's generally bad


it will result to dragon/witch farming becoming a "thing"

I just have a bad feeling about it... sounds interesting

I actually find this idea pretty interesting.

You mentioned that instead of the past ideas, where the troops would just simply come back, you would have to pay half or stuff like that.

As long as there is no flaws with it (like silver being swarmed with dragons) then I support!

no from me! This is in place for many reasons, one being that you should be clever with your deployment and not just spam troops because you will lose elixir and time. Be more conservative in the future!

The reason this idea is not in the game yet, is that if troops would return to base, than attackers would just use up all the troops they have, and be all "Rambo Style" on the defenders. SuperCell made it so that troops that didn't die will not return to base because this way, it would encourage the attackers to use more strategy, and send in the right amount of troops to attack, so that they could save their elixir.

They commit suicide/self destruct after battles lol.

Still a no no for me, I would just have dragons in my camp look for bases with storages etc they can get to quickly, raid the loot and end the battle before too many dragons die or are below 50% and hey presto the cycle repeats itself.

You spend the troops, you deploy the troops you lose the troops. It was the original premise of the game and you have to accept that. To change it would be a very bad move in my opinion.

It still not ruled out though. Spreading false info is bad even though I highly doubt this would be added to the game. It could easily cause people to train troops that won't die easily (like mass dragons) and bully the weak

Please learn to understand the game before getting all righteous about ruled in or out. Sometimes they just mean it is so against common sense that it obviously isn't going to happen.

If they did this then there is no reason a higher player doesn't push down and start taking out bases with dragons that of course survive. Since the attack in the end cost the guy nothing he can just do it over and over all day for unlimited loot. That the bases are lower loot does not matter when its free to attack them. The difference can just be made up by attacking more freely.

Even with your subsequent edits you are still making attacking lower bases so cheap that everyone would just push down and d that. You are only thinking you want a free discount for your attacks and not considering the overall game economy.

Very well thought out idea but I just feel that this is too tedious of work to do one thing. I mean you have to pay back half the cost or put them into the hospital( an entire new building that needs to be built). And to add to it, I never really had a problem with losing the troops anyways. I mean it could get annoying to not come back with those troops because it makes perfect sense to be able to, but more than half of the time I'm training an army while I'm also raiding. I feel like this idea COULD be implemented but as for now I don't think I can support it.

I like the idea for the clan wars. Most of the people in my (small) clan don't want to go to war but once a week or so, because the loot bonuses aren't worth the elixir spent in the war. Something like this would encourage a lot of the smaller clans to go to war. (which is the only fun part of the game) Instead of losing interest in the game.

I feel like the crazy person that is the only one that understands.

That at top part of the ruled ou sticky, read the first two sentences. That top lost is merely user submitted ideas that have been requested frequently enough to make it on that list. Being on that list does NOT imply Supercell is doing anything about any feature in that list.

English is is a fairly complicated language, i understand, and one word said in different albeit sutle differences mean almost opposite.

To consider is a potential for future actions.

Under consideration implies a current action. They make it clear that being on that list does not mean they are taking any actions, even a simple act of consideration.

The he list is there for them TO consider possible, maybe, sometime in the unclear future.

Stop STOP implying that that list somehow actively being used for something.

Its a list. A list they have yet to consider. Eventually, they'll review it and seem X ruled out and Y for implementation. But today, as far as WE know, the list is just a user submitted list of requently suggested ideas. That is ALL!

Not necessarily. It could be as simple as changing how much loot you would get per attack. I recommended this idea so that not as much of the game would be waiting.

Any more comments/edits would be appreciated.

my vote is.......NO simple because of few reasons

this will make ppl attack weaker players more often

it will decrease SC money (less gemming)

it will take SC time (better to work on something else)

I vote no. Just seems like too much work on SC's part. they would have to make some sort of hospital as you mentioned and even though you said only troops with 50% health could return, it would still feel like boom beach.

This was ruled out for obvious reasons - stomping low levels.

no. I don't like the idea. To many problems with it. I like how the troops can't come back, but it would be nice if clan castle troops could come back.

I agree. What would stop high level players from raiding with all dragons or pekkas for 3 raids in a row? Even with a quarter of the waiting time it's still way too unbalanced.

Or you should just be refunded 50% of what the troop is worth/ 50% of what it's worth at it's current health
