Well... somehow Xbows can bypass walls and attack ground units, so.................
I think the fact that the inferno Towers do damage to dragons and lava hounds should be their number one priority.
When a volcano erupts I doubt that the nearby citizens think "Lava sliding down towards to my home! Let me grab my flamethrower and heat the lava out of existence!"
game logic...
because no one want real life logic otherwise they won't be playing "fun" games
This is not a bug and is not illogical at all.
If the xbow is pointing upwards at greater than 45 degrees then it's going to shoot at a lesser distance. Just assume that it's set at 80 degrees.
The X bow has to pointed at an 80 degree age or something. Then it makes sense.
inb4 close for biased poll.
I'm new to the forum, so hi. I don't know if anyone else will think that this makes sense, but I don't think the ground range vs. ground and air range of the X-Bow is based on the distance that the elixir darts would travel. I believe that tge X-Bows can be thought of as having sensors, kinda like radar. The sensors detect ground troops at a 14 tile distance and therefore activate the X-Bow at that range. The sensor range for the ground and air setting is only 11 tiles.
