The real x-bow bug - this HAS to be fixed

The X-Bow would probably have to be pointed at an angle greater than 45 deg. in order to hit air targets accurately, especially at short range. Therefore darts could possibly be shot in a skinnier parabola-shape fashion similar to a mortar shot, which would reduce the x-bow's range. If it looks like it's pointed up at 45 degrees, or if the darts don't seem to travel in such a way, I kindly remind you that there's more than one graphical glitch involving x-bows at this time.

When taking air resistance into account the trayectory of a projectile approximates the lower drawing instead of the upper above (yes, even the sharp drop when pointing up). Specially true for small/light fast projectiles (ie. like X-bows darts) as opposed to big projectiles (like mortar shells).

Simple Geometry, a 45 degree angle will result in the fart best distance.

I personally think that the air range should be shorter then the ground range when on Air & ground, the shot gets stopped in the air when hitting air target but it would have gone way ffurther if it fell down too. It would be very messed up tho 😂 Feel free to drop any ideas on how to "fix" this in a logical way

The logic is consistent if you assume the Xbow is loaded with a different type of arrow for ground vs. air. The Air + ground arrow might have to be larger and heavier for example to cause the same amount of damage.

The only logic regarding the xbow at the moment is why they have not fixed the glitch, yet something else to add to the list of what needs to be fixed.

Also the xbow uses direct laying (not like the mortars we have or artillery in general) so if you aim them to indirect laying the range will be higher but you wont hit the target or do very little damage...
