To those at TH 8 and ready to make the move to TH 9 what level are your walls?
I'm ready to upgrade to th9 in about 1 month, got only 30 walls left and some defenses. Really worth it to upgrade those walls to lvl 8, as you can dump elixir into walls (got 6001000 elixir).

Max walls ftw. I farm to many kids with low level walls to know better.
I finished my skulls when I was a TH8 on July 1, 2014.
I'll do my walls ASAP.I still have some upgrades to do(naming traps and point defenses)
But now,I only have level 7 walls with 8 level 8 walls :P
I'm a while away from TH9 but just finished all skulls today.
My TH8 went to 9 today. I was a Pure Max TH 8 I even had max loot and full CC loot
I'll be starting TH9 next weekend, only have 25 skulls, rest Purple/L7.
Didn't focus on walls until my defenses were close to max, kinda regret that, but I can't stay at TH8 for 200 skulls when Lab/Defenses/Barracks are already maxed for TH8.
