The clash of clans villages are built on ley lines as rauta said in a previous thread about archers vs archer tower hit points (couldn't find thread sorry :( ) every now and then the spirits grow upset with your complaining and they cause an earthquake in your village to punish you.
Everytime I click on 2 mines and I zoom out, this health bar sizzling thingy appears. Dunno whether it's coincidence or a real glitch :/
When was the earthquake removed? Just curious I started in feb 2013.
