Please make an undo button - Cancelled Clan Castle upgrade to level 5 with 1 day left

Ok, so I know this is my fault, but I was in a rush and trying to get a few things done quickly, logged in, going through the usual quick click sequence to collect loot, train troops etc, and just had a total spasm/brain fart all at once and somehow cancelled my level 5 clan castle upgrade with 1 day to go.

That's hours of effort raiding for the millions of gold and days of waiting just instantly gone because of one stupid miss click, again, I realise this is my fault but *SURELY* there must be a way to protect players from doing this? A 1 minute undo function, a double confirmation, a type CONFIRM on cancellations worth over 1 million, anything.... it really can't be that hard to program into the game surely?

I don't suppose there's any way to get a refund or something is there? Damn I'm so annoyed!

It is extremely annoying when that happens. I did that with a dark elixir drill a few months ago. You'll have to get back the gold and restart the upgrade. There's no way to undo your mistake. Sorry. :(

I've wasted +450 gems an auto-completion once. I wish they moved the confirmation button to a corner or a place people rarely click, but I doubt they'd do undo

a single confirmation is enough. double confirmation is pretty weird idea if you ask me, you just thought that only because you missed the single confirmation.

just as you said yourself, the fault is yours. so i doubt SC will response to any of your complains.

Sirix, that'd be fine too, they just need to make it a little harder to accidentally click it, I REFUSE to believe that some kind of extra protection couldn't be easily implemented.

wow... the day before i just missclick too

it was an AD upgrade from 6 to 7, only a few hours left.
now i'm waitting it again for 10d.

that was soo annoying :mad:,, but that was my mistake.. we got to deal with it and learn from that.. ;)

Oh man that hurts, you have my deepest condolences to you and your family. I once waisted 250 gems on a week shield if that makes you feel any better, not much in comparison to your loss though.

Nothing strange about double confirmations. We have that in the game already when 'deleting' accounts

Vincentboy why is it weird? If you're rushing clicks it's easy to miss read or just hit the "yes" button or some such, who hasn't done the same thing when clicking through multiple agreements to EULAs or the equivalent... it wouldn't impact anyone negatively making it slightly tougher to cancel big upgrades, it's not like we are all cancelling stuff multiple times a day is it? And it would stop small accident that have big costs to someone like this happening....

This is why I don't click on upgrading buildings :rolleyes:

just try thinking about it, when you click cancel upgrade, then the window pop up "are you sure?" then you click confirm, then a window pop up again asking "are you really sure?"

my response would be "why are you asking me the same damn question twice? are you deaf or blind or what? just do your job already"

What makes you think that a double confirmation will keep you from "rushing clicks" and missing the second confirmation? The only time I'm "rushing clicks" is when I'm attacking a village and want to deploy troops quickly. When I'm on my own village screen, I just collect one tap at a time. Slow down.

Since you put it that way, I'd rather not tell you so I can farm on that account.











Anyways, it's not exactly deleting. The account will stay in the economy but you replace the account that you load with another for the device. It essentially asks "Are you sure you want to load this?" and then "Are you sure you want to delete the old village?" Furthermore, you have to type CONFIRM in caps so that's double confirmation with a touch of accident-proofing

Exactly how many times are you cancelling buildings, you would not be impacted by this hardly ever, in fact I've never once cancelled a building, in fact I'd rather have the option to cancel turned off now!!! And that's just one suggestion, how about making the confirmation box a different colour, or off in a corner so it doesn't look like a standard confirmation you routinely click (i.e gemming stuff).

I guess you'd rather just smugly repeat criticisms of an idea that would basically impact no one, and certainly help some.

It's almost the worst error that can be suffered and it sucks it happened bruh. I bet we've all done it. Mine happened when I just brushed the screen while carrying my tablet.

well there are times when i accidentally gemmed stuff like shields for example, but i know that SC will never do anything that makes their gem sales go down, so i save my breath asking them anything.

Ok, then how about a 30 second "wind down"?

The cancellation starts, it takes 30 seconds for the worker to wind down his activity, within that period you can resume the construction, or let the timer run and it's cancelled.

What's the negative side to the above? Pluses are : this won't happen to people any more.

Easy to program I'm sure too.

Hey I had to do it when it was 7 mil, and another 7 mil for the lvl 6 cc, it sucks I accidentally cancelled a lvl 3 Xbow, look at the bright side, you'll be able to build up your gold grab

I've never had this issue so I don't see a need. Sorry you wasted your time and gold.

30 seconds away from townhall 10 upgrade, and my friend asks to take a look, and ends up cancelling.

I'm begging supercell to undo this for me because I was just way too excited for this upgrade. I had full gold and everything.

At least with full gold you can restart it again right away. Super cell won't undo it.

Deleting accounts is of a more serious situation however. I mean.. They REALLY want you to think twice about doing that. As for cancelling a clan castle upgrade, you click on the clan castle, you accidentally click on the cancel button. Ok. Then you accidentally click on the confirmation button to cancel after that?

That's just sad. Lol.

If this person is really your friend they'll give you the cash for gems to finish the upgrade immediately. But what am I saying, I'm in the Supercell forums where nobody takes responsibility for what they do or say... lol.
