An idea to make the game more realistic:Day and night in the game

This is my first post so any suggestions on the quality will be appreciated :D

Also please dont TL;DR me guys,I have a feeling you will like this.

I have been playing Clash of clans for a while now and have just recently come to know of the forums and the share space it offers. I thought of this idea a while back but did'nt know if I could actually have someone judge it. The game is really enjoyable and fun to play but there is always day time in the game. My suggestion is an addition of night time in the game. Now some of the people will be like 'what good will that do?','this game is war! It is not supposed to be pretty!' Or 'The P.E.K.K.A will look really cute in the dark background!' But please guys, bear with me.

So when I thought about this I thought the exact same things as the ones above,not the P.E.K.K.A one mind you,so I came up with a few benifits and additions to the night time scheme. I came up with these when I was reading the discription of the minions,which if you dont know,states 'They materialize with ease,but are fragile in our world.' That gave me an idea. What if the dark troops became more powerfull at night? We all know that ghosts and witches are more powerfull at night,courtesy horror movies. I also make a point here that I realize that if SuperCell,which I am guessing is abbreviated as SC,has ever added something new to Clash of Clans they have also added something new to the opposite side as well. By which I mean that if SC adds a new attack troop,they also add a new defence to even things out,the level of which depends according to the stats of the new troop. So having said that I made a list if all the changes that can be made if night time is added. They are as even as I could possibly make them and the list is not very long now,but I hope to expand them later. Suggestions from veterans are welcome!

Attack

Dark troops become stronger at night

I know it sounds awesome that a witch and her skeletons will be able to do more damage and minions will be more powerfull. But as I said,it has to have a few downsides.

1.Dark troop training at night will require more dark elixir.
2.There will be no diffrence in the dark elixir production rate.

As you might have noticed I have not specified by how much the stats of the troops will increase. This is because I trust the guys at SC are more talented and accomplished at doing this than I am. So I leave that to them :D

Defence

Defence buildings have a higher Damage against DARK TROOPS at night.

All the defences have a higher damage against dark troops at night,kinda like favourite targets of a tower. The defences do NOT include traps and the hidden tesla. An exception to that rule should be the inferno tower,as it already has a very high damage per second.

Other additions

These additions are not going to affect the attacks in any way. They are just to make the game little bit more realistic

1. Night falls with the local network time.
2. The whole play area is illuminated,but every building also casts a glow to the surrounding area,which is slightly more bright than the surrounding glow.
3. Cornerstones of walls to have torches on all levels,but those of level 9 and below to be illuminated at night only.
4. The decorative torches also cast a glow around them. Afterall,they are torches.

Those are all the additions I could add at this point and will add more as soon as a future brainwave hits me.
But that is not all. I realize that to change the game settings from day to night each day from the local network time can be hard on the servers and may not work. I do hope that this works but if it does not then no worries ;)
Also since each and every tower will have increased damage against dark troops and also as they will be more expensive to train at night,I do hope that if this works,the dark troops will have some serious increase in damage and hitpoints. Again a reminder that I am leaving the increase in stats and training cost at night to the SC team. Also the increase in the damage per second of the towers is upto them. I hope you liked the idea and again I say that I am open to new ideas and suggestions related to this post. Dont TL;DR and read the whole thing you will like it ;)

What if I live in Australia and people in America have different time zones? Will americans get a bonus and I have to wait? Will it be harder for me to attack an American player whenever I'm on? I just personally don't like the bonuses that come along with the idea of day and night(which I like) and in fact, im never going to support any kind of bonus increases to anything in this game.

what about people who have impaired vision?

Someone already mentioned time zones which renders this idea difficult but also a bad idea in that how do you match players fairly so that everyone has an equal opportunity to fight clans in night time.

There is also the question of war where if the clans are on opposite sides of the world, one clan may be worse off if one of them can wait till it is dark to attack.

I would try to make new post keeping in mind your suggestions as for the clan war timing these can only be just for the daily raids dont you think? :o

A pretty good idea, but forget the ideas about changing the actual gameplay with the nighttime boosts. For just looks it would be pretty cool, buildings could be equipped with torches...

The answer to Donovan18's question can be that the attackers troops can carry a special algorithm that makes the opponents defences know that it is night in the attackers time zone and accordingly change thier stats. Dont know if thats possible though,just a thought. :p

I repeat: Not gonna happen.

Love It!! Except I don't think the troops, training time etc. should be affected.

And if it was day in your village and you attacked someone who was from a country where it was night it would be night when you attacked them.
