Here is a way for clans to be more relevant.
Add clan mate replays to the battle log, and make it so that any clan member within the same trophy range can revenge against an opponent who attacks you.
That way we can all help each other, and learn from each other.

This means that TH 8 player with 200 trophies now runs a very real risk of getting revenged by someone who can actually beat him.
What are your thoughts?
Is this an interesting way to bring the "Clan" into CoC with out unbalancing the game?
I like it but a TH 10 at the same trophy range could still wipe out a TH 6 base.
Another problem I see is multiple clan mates attacking the same base.
Transferring a revenge is ruled out.

My gosh this is old, but nevertheless a good idea though. I do think that there should be a limit on the revenge though, as getting attacked by an entire clan doesn't sound like much fun.

Despite my carefully reading all the stickies before posting, and using the Advanced search feature to find this thread rather than start a new one, it seems I have run afoul of the nattering naysaying nabobs of negativism and tread into the forbidden lands of being "ruled out".
Then again, in the context of "Clan vs Clan", which IS on the update list, this idea MIGHT be worth discussing. Perhaps, just maybe, there is a possibility that the idea is not that bad.

Regarding the concern that the entire clan might make revenge attacks, I don't see that as a reasonable thing to have happen. Currently, the Revenge button only gives one attack. No reason to change this, just allow that one attack to come from someone else in your clan.
As for that TH 10 wiping out that TH 6... Let me set up the stage:
TH10 has dropped trophies to get down in to the good "farming" zone. His trophy count now has him preying on TH6 players. His dragons are well fed, his PEKKAs are bored and his gold stores are getting full. Feast on one village, drop trophies on five. Keep this ratio up and start building walls of electrified, golden lava. Life is good for our evil bully.
Our hero, the stout TH6 player logs on to find his beloved village is a smoking ruin. There is dragon poop on everything in sight and everywhere the dang things sneezed there is a still smoldering fire. Speaking of smoldering, his villagers have been raped and the town house pillaged. With blood in his eyes, our plucky little TH6 player follows the trail of dropped gold coins to see who would dare to defile his beloved little village. Using the "Visit" function he realizes the crass cretin is a TH10 player who is too cowardly to play on his own playground and instead is beating up on players who are not his own size. Now, today, our hero has no real choices. He sadly sweeps up the mess, shakes his fist and mutters "some day!"
Now, imagine, "some day" in the not too distant future.
Instead of suffering insult after indignity, our heroic little TH6 player goes back to his clan and describes the foul deeds done to his village. Together they foment a plan and recruit the highest level TH in their clan to pay the cretin a visit. Now there is a chance for revenge!!!! The "Revenge" link is shared and away goes a custom built TH10 level army to wreak vengeance for the Clan!!!
Is this not the very spirit of "Clan vs Clan"?
You strike me, one of my clan mates punishes you. This happens enough times and all of a sudden, attackers will start paying a lot of attention to which clan flag you are flying. As a leader, I could see putting the word out to watch for particular clans to avoid (due to their high level clan mates) or hit (due to their sniveling behaviors). Low level Clans start recruiting aggressively for a high level player or three to be the "enforcement team" in their clan. High level players start recruiting lower level clan members to gain a source of potential lucrative revenge hits.
This is a first (and potentially simple) thing to make possible. The code already exists to share the replay on the Clan Chat. Adding a "Revenge" button to that share is not a huge leap. The code already exists to only allow one "Revenge" attack. Again, not a great leap to only allow one "Revenge" attack.
The potential change to the dynamics of the game...
These are huge.
Dropping Trophies now leaves a trail of Revenge attacks scattered across clans that possibly have high TH players looking for action. Perhaps it is not such a good idea to manipulate your trophy level if it exposes you to a long series of Revenge attacks once you attempt to camp. Maybe "Dropping Trophies" becomes a less frequent behavior.
Farming in a lower Trophy level is now a riskier business. Those poor little lower level THs that used to scatter before you, now call upon the higher level THs in their clan to go teach that Farmer a lesson. Perhaps "Farming" actually starts to require skill instead of just the moral code of stealing candy from children.
I would note that both of those behaviors, "Dropping Trophies" and "Farming lower level THs", are frequently identified as behaviors that cause problems with the "Matchmaking" algorithm. Perhaps, this simple change not only opens the door to "Clan vs Clan" but it also addresses some problems with "Matchmaking".
This also tends to build stronger bonds inside a clan. Your clan mates not only fill your CC, they also help you deal with that bully. You, in turn, do the same for lower level members of your clan. Your clan mate "has your back". Mind, that Revenge button still doesn't get past a "Shield" or "Player Online" so it may require some persistence by you to keep posting the link and your mates to keep trying to hit it before Revenge happens. This also helps build camaraderie in completing a shared task.
I don't claim this is the ultimate solution to every problem CoC will ever face. I do think it is worth considering, in light of the "Clan vs Clan" direction that SuperCell seems interested in going. It definitely needs to be looked at to ensure it does not impact the all important buying of gems. Perhaps using the "Clan Member Revenge" link costs 2X gold compared to a normal attack or maybe even <gasp> a gem. This would reduce abuse of the feature and tweaking the cost of using the link can be used to adjust the number of attacks/player/day in the game.
Now, please excuse me while I run off and sharpen my Samurai sword. Having committed the unpardonable crime of mentioning an idea that has already be "ruled out", I must prepare to commit Seppuku.

It reads like you have a problem with farmers and not with big TH smashing smaller TH.
You also infer that I don't like the idea when I made no comment on its merit at all... I actually think it would be a huge amount of fun.

Trying to save everyone a little time and effort considering an idea that SC have said they will not do.
I don't really get this, and I don't think you get farming or the loot penalty. Stealing candy from babies? Most active players have low loot, deliberately so. I do not farm them because of this. I get loot from inactives, those players saving for an expensive upgrade they are saving for and people with dumb bases.Quote:

And finally with my townhall outside I get TH-sniped most of the time anyway, so am not available for revenge except for a few minutes each day (unless you want to change that too?)
