Ready Up Option For Prep

I don't like the idea, as it will give competitive war clans advantages/disadvantages of the donate fast or quick. Also, I often doubt that both clans would actually remember about the button. I quite like the 24 hour thing, because we have the option to get donations out of the way or relax with them.

Not trolling/. I think that's a cop out. Next time if you don't want anything but agreement don't self bump when folks take that to mean they should keep their thoughts to themselves.

The war period has to stay 48 hours total or your idea cannot be done. So you have 5 kids that don't understand how the game works and only know that they feel impatient vs one guy that sees the whole picture whoever that was. You actually did not have a vote from me either way, I was waiting to support you if you could adjust it to cover the very real problems it has the way you have it down now.

But go ahead, cop out with the 'you are making me mad not agreeing with me right off' approach. your idea can wither and die for not having a chance of getting accepted by SC no matter what people here say. Try not to self bump it anymore.

Our clan of 40-45 usually has all the war castles filled within the first hour or two. As for scouting bases ahead of time how does that work for you when people change the base last minute with the new layout tools?

Personally I think they should just keep it simple with the 24h prep and war its fair to everyone. I also think that any time they took off prep they would need to add to the war time so really whats the point.

If they did change it to allow shorter wars I would expect to see the amount of war farming increase due to the higher rate of loot gain.

This is correct in that it is exactly what would happen. And also even if not exploiting any case where a clan is collecting bonus at a faster rate then every 48 hours would be a loss of profit to SC plus a disruption on the game economy. To shorten down the overall 48 hour time frame they would have to prorate down the bonus payouts to not let it be exploitable nor impact the game economy or SC's bottom line. No matter what we all think and say here SC is not gong to sacrifice profits. its a realistic point we have to always work around with the suggestions.

I take the OPs belligerence at the suggestion of adding to the war window (cops out by calling that suggestion trolling) to mean that his actual end game was to speed up the bonus payouts. And of course not reduce them either. he wants extra payout.

Unfortunately it does limit our ideas a bit, which is annoying. But of course they wouldn't let us have more enjoyment on their game because they would lose a few pounds.

That's the bottom line and the chief difference in points of view. To us all the game is just a form of enjoyment so we tend to think what would make us enjoy it more. But to them its all about making money (and in their defense if it wasn't there would be no purpose to them running it at all) so their thinking (because also its them and not us with the control) we have to work within that constraint.

it doesn't limit every idea. I see many that would just be better, not more expensive to SC. Also there were ways to tweak this one rejected by the OP that would have made it not something that costs more to SC.

It wouldn't have to be mandatory. Like you said if the feature would be implemented I don't think it would be used every war. Some would like to make donations last throughout the duration in it entirety, but if both clans were ready to go in 12 hours or so they could ready up to begin the war day discarding what was left of the prep day.

If shorting overall time is a big enough problem the idea could use a compromise, and add it to the war day to allow more time for coordination of attacks.
