Best use of gems?

Hey all I am just wondering, I was thinking about spending 100-200$ worth on gems and I figured why not ask the community what would be best to use the gems on? I was thinking walls? But I really dont know.. please help me out guys!!

i have all maxed out troops besides wizards drags pekkas and balloons and maxed army camps.

Boosting barracks is super fun and much more efficient than gemming resources.

what do you mean by super fun? haha and so gemming to try and get some lvl 8 walls? you think it would be a waste?
maybe on defenses? i dont care too much for the barracks because i only generally use archers barbs gobs giants and wall breakers

I think it is fun to have barracks running at 4x normal speed because you essentially don't stop raiding. As for what to spend any gold on, I think your teslas and walls could use the most work. In general, though, defensive upgrades provide more benefit than wall upgrades (if walls are at least lvl 6, which yours are), but you don't really want to max TH 8 and still only have level 6 walls. Try to strike a balance and don't let anything get too far ahead of anything else.

i actually never thought about doing the 4x boost haha is it really worth it? how quickly on average would i be able to farm gold? and hmm another good question is whether to even splash the 100-200$ on the game hahaha if it were you what would you spend the $$$ on?

Haha, spend the money if you like, but just try to be smart with what you do with the gems. Barracks boosting is the most efficient way to convert gems to resources, because you just keep raiding for 45 minutes straight. Boosting barracks isn't your only option though. Gemming the upgrade times is very useful as well, for example. I do agree with your OP that walls could benefit from some upgrades, and your teslas and archer towers are subpar as well. Personally, that is what I would focus on.

hmmmm such a difficult decision.. idk what the best thing to do is! ;( real money should be spent wisely haha and doing the calculations i need about 250$ just for the lvl 7 --> 8 upgrade... =O
