Attacking own TH levels - who has it best/worst?

At TH7, I was able to 2 star maxed out TH9s so I suppose I'd have to go with TH7 :p

And no offense but if you can only 3 star bases with really low ADs then you can probably improve your attacking abilities first. Again its not as easy as everyone likes to say it is but with some practice you can 3 star any th8 as well.

I guess I'll just consider myself lucky, because it surely isn't my base design. I've got 4 TH8 bases running from all maxed defenses, down to 1 lvl6 and 2 lvl5 AD with all archer towers still with another level to upgrade, and none of them have been 3 starred by a TH8 mass drag with loon6 in CC attack since before the last update. Doesn't matter if they use 3 lightning to take out 1 of the AD, 3 rage, 2 rage/1heal, 2 heal/1 rage....I just haven't seen a successful raid since the winter update.

I know it isn't my base design, because each of them is different - I've buried/clustered my AD in the center, set it up as described in JTJ U video so that CC will draw them in, just to see if people actually know how to use them. I've hung my AD on the outside ring, as scattered as possible, and just about everything in between.

Without any confirmation from Supercell, I know they messed with dragon AI. Up until the last update, I used to 3 star with them consistently, to the point that I would play cleanup as needed, and teach the other members how to use them properly. After the update the dragons path differently, and ability to 3 star has been reduced significantly.....to the point that my clan has banned their use in war unless we get the rare occasion to go up against a TH7 or fresh TH8...or poorly upgraded TH8. It's just easier and cheaper to gowipe - 2 stars is 2 stars regardless.

I'm not saying it isn't possible, or that you aren't a dragon master and much more advanced at using dragons. I'm only reporting what I've seen as someone that wars 2-3 times a week with 4 different accounts.

Either way, I didn't want this to turn into discussion on mass drags....there are plenty of those threads around.

TH6 is the easiest TH to attack :D

AI hasn't changed. It's the addition of skeleton traps that potentially screws up attacks. AI never changes without it being explicitly stated in the patch notes.

Trust a guy who just upgraded to TH7.If you got some practice and know what to do, TH6 is super easy.I had maxed troops in TH6.About 23 Giants are used.First take out the Air Defenses. Then send in 2 Healers.Use clean up troops to fill the other spaces.2 Heal Spells will do the job

TH 1. Other TH 1's can't attack you. :rolleyes:

I don't think it was purposefully changed, however, I do agree with him. They have pathed differently since the update. I was facerolling other TH8's and garunteed 2 stars or more on non maxed TH9's. Since the update I have had to actually plan the attacks and even then those are lucky to 3 stars and sometimes lucky to 2 star. They just seem to not go the right way these days.
Since then I have been incorperating minions and/or loons and Finding it a little easier to get the 2 stars and possibly get 3.

I'm a TH8 with level 1 dragons, consistently get 3 stars against TH8s. Maxed air defenses are hard though.
