Wb is the most expensive unit per housing space
they should be invisible until they explode
ok....care to tell why?
People invest a lot into dragons for some raids. Sometimes they send some dragons after an AD but it has some air bombs by it, killing it. The dragon wasn't able to serve its purpose and the attacker pays a heavy price for them not doing what he intended them to do
I know the situations aren't the same, as wb's just have one use and are gone regardless of getting hit or not, but the point I'm trying to lead you towards is: make many of them. Just like how players don't take just 2 or 3 dragons for a dragon raid, they bring 8-12.
Then in that case raise their health but cannons are designed to retarget for wallbreakers
The wall breaker should not be invincible.
The wall breaker's bomb should at least explode ( maybe 50% of it's original damage) if the wall breaker dies.
So I could just make 10 WB, release them one at time and clear a path to the core, uninterrupted and unstoppable?
Then once the walls are clear, send in the real army....
....obviously I'm against this idea....
Ah yes, mortars, the bane of wall breakers. I feel your frustration, as it happens to me pretty regularly. Cannons and archer towers can be tanked with barbarians or giants, but you can't tank against a mortar. The best you can hope for is to time your WB's so they go through the kill zone and detonate between mortar shots. This can be almost impossible if 2-3 mortars are targetting the kill zone and are taking turns firing. I've wasted 8-10 WB's trying to take out a wall that needed only two, because no matter how I tried to stagger the timing, I just couldn't seem to get them in to the wall and have them survive for what seems like at least a full second before they explode.
WB's are very expensive, but when you think about what they do, they're well worth it, and they should be easy to kill. How many barbarians or giants would you need pounding on a wall to take it down in even a fraction of the time of just 1-3 WB's?
I wouldn't mind just a tiny bit more hit points, but I've learned to live with them the way they are. Part of making them so fragile is that it puts more skill into using them. I still see people drop WB's right next to a cannon that will one-shot them. Some compensate by dropping several more WB's than are needed. Waste of elixir if you ask me. Some tank by dropping units in the spot to soften up the wall and draw fire. I like to tank with a decoy drop when mortars and wizard towers are involved, so that my WB's don't end up trying to stand in a kill zone. I've had plenty of WB's killed by WT's because my giants were banging on the wall in the same spot the WB's were trying to go, and the splash damage got my WB's.
invisible until they explode. WOW just WOW! No that will never happen or people would just break nearly every single compartment in a base.... just no. sorry. Place them more carefully, and guard them with meat shield troops such as barbs or giants or golems..
