close clan during war
By your logic you think I think that way. Or you just want to troll and twist the meaning of 'exploit' around. I don't know of you ever noticed, but your giant 'example' and goblin examples are as flawed as you are, since in-game they are actually listed as something they are supposed to do. And if you bothered reading, you would know that one of my points is that spying is not listed in-game as something people are encouraged to use.
Not a good idea what if you had a fairly experienced clasher not in the war but a spectator, who wants to give advice on clan war base designs - they can't fully because they can't see how the traps are set up. And if the opt in and out function ever materialises this will add to the problem aswell. There are ways of dealing with the spy threat already available to you - but you all CHOOSE not to use them.
But then I will have no purpose of visiting the enemy's clan :(
Just program it to where spectacular mode for those newly joining and watching can't see traps and CC troop info, like many of us asked already. It isn't that hard to program. No one else outside of the waring clan needs to known that info as it is going on. And for those clan hopping friends that are late joining in to spectate, either wait for awhile for some cool down timer or just deal with missing out and be one of the many edge case statistics.
Still waiting on those cited sources from rwelshjr to prove my assumptions are wrong.
I disagree you are excluding comunal activities of all clan members are entitled to, as they are a part of your clan - just for the sake that there could, but porbably not be a spy amongst your clan. Just because members might have not the right trophy count to be in the clan war doesn't mean they are not experienced enough to have input in war base designs, to exclude them from this will take another thing away from them and will probably mean they will leave anyway due to boredom.
As to complexity of the programming this would be down to how the game is written it could be more complex than we assume, particularly if only newly joined people are to have this restriction. In my opinion this kind action would force something upon clans who may not want this feature and probably don't. I think this feature would do more harm to a clan than the other solutions provided to combat spying.
You are completely correct. Also he knows all that. This is one of those guys willing to ♥♥ and twist info t shape the game according to his personal desires rather than consider the bigger picture of how its intended and what's good about it. The forum is for guys to work together in a discussion how to help the game as a whole but all to often we get guys that are just here because they want something for their own selves.
