Protect the children!

Although the game is for age 13 and older, many kids under 13 are playing too. It really bothers me that some guys cant behave and think with the wrong head.
They should take a cold shower, and think about other things.
It really disgust me when I see "adult" guys making sexual advances to very young girls.
Our clan has people from several countries, I cant see their global chat, but those guys always follow the young girls into the clan to make such advances.
I delete them, write down their name, lvl, and TH. But I cant report them within clan or make sure they will never be able to enter our clan again.
Because its possible that two players have the same name etc.
Is it possible to make a reportfunction with clanchats too? Maybe only available for the (co) leader, and also when you push "delete from clan" you get the question "are you sure" a third button should be added next to "cancel" and "yes" . A " Yes, Clan Closed" button. This will prevent them to get back in the clan and cannot be undone

For now you could make it invite only and demote anyone that lets those people back in. It is an interesting idea but sometimes co-leaders go crazy and kick people (free co anyone?). Perhaps if only the leader could "blacklist" them.

You can report inappopriate behavior in-game.

Settings>Help & Support>Speech balloon on the top right

Make sure to provide the clan tag of their clan (if any) and a screenshot of their base.

We don't necessarily need this. It actually up to us, the staff, AND HOPEFULLY THEIR PARENTS to take care of these children + you can always set it to 'invite only' or 'closed' to prevent random people in your clan.

If you are the leader you should not tolerate that behavior. Just kick them and the clan will be happier because of it. If you arent the leader id recommend leaving because there are plenty of clans out there with decent people that dont put up with that.

Yes similar to a blacklist, but now I need to do it by hand, pass it to the other members so they can keep their eyes open too. It works But now and than one sneaks through who was deleted. This will help a lot against people with wrong intensions towards children. Its hard to keep them out the game but it should be easier to keep them out the clan

I kinda like this idea, if you are referring to Supercell adding in a Blacklist. Would prevent the confusion of mistaking someone for someone who has been kicked out of the clan. E.g. Someone with the name "Mark" being kicked for immature behaviour wouldn't be confused with another player with the same in game name.

Thanks for your advice, our clan is set on invite only, however, these guys behave very friendly and decent on global, as soon as they get the invite to join, they start. I am Co leader, my leader does not accept such behaviour in clan also. Reporting them is time consuming for us aswell for support.
This feature would be much less time consuming and very effective

Have to admit, I've been noticing it too. Its not pleasant whether you're 13 or 21 to see it on global or have it happen to you.

Maybe this should be added.

I've been leader of my clan for almost two years and we have an easy solution for folks like that...it's called the kick button. There is already two ways to report players, not sure we need a blacklist or any major change to the game.

For the record....I do NOT let my kids (who are under 13) play this game, for this very reason. You can't do much more to make global safe for kids, but you sure as heck can make your clan a safe zone.

Maybe its how I grew up or the view/values I have but honestly I dont think this is a problem to where SC needs to really do much here is why.
1.) There shouldnt be anyone under 13 to start with on the game
2.) If you are under 18 (or 17 in some cases) then its implied that your parents are allowing you to play a game with adults and should have some type of supervision
3.) There is already an in game report function if there is a serious problem
4.) If global is the problem you can leave that global
5.) If a clan is the problem you can leave that clan
6.) There is a mute function in global so if someone is annoying you can mute them

Testify! I don't like that my kids can't play (meaning I won't let them) but I think SC has done about as much as they can to deal with these issues. You can't code a game to change the depravity of man.

Where are you guys finding so many potential pedophiles in Global? Or is this a recent thing (I haven't been playing in an actual clan for 4 months). But previously to that, never once have we had this issue, and we have had kids--both boys and girls--in our clan.

Do players come in and use harsh language or post offensive things? Occasionally, yes... but we are accepting of liberal language, and we simply boot any players acting offensively. People don't have a right not to be offended, but it is very easy to remove that type of behavior from being present in your clan (boot system).

But the predatorial stuff? It's just shocking to me that it seems to be running rampant with new members to your clan, while I seriously don't think we ever had one instance of it.

I dont talk about pedophiles or predators, but guys who cant behave towards girls, probably they dont even know the age, but asume the girl is of their own age, it doesnt matter, fact is. They have a friendly chat on global, the guy gets an invite or sends a request to join. We accept, he speaks, we delete. Write down his name lvl TH. and for now he wont get in. But I also dont want to him back when he 30lvl higher and 3 TH higher, Several players can have the same name, I would not know if its the same or another player with the that name. Do I need to exclude all players with that name because 1 cant behave a bit?

Once again, that goes back to my first question: how insanely often is this happening that you are getting so many names you have to jot down on your "blacklist" to the point where you think you're turning away players with similar names who aren't doing that? And just don't accept anyone with ButtLicker69 after you have your first ButtLicker69 incident; you aren't going to be missing out on much by just having a blacklist that you keep out similar names, regardless of if it's the same person.

Sorry to go off-topic, but you just made me do a spit take with my water {{wipes off screen to type}}. I'm with you here - it hasn't happened too often in the two years I've been in my clan. Not sure why the OP is having such a huge issue with this. There are only a handful of folks we know not to let back in and it's easy enough to keep a mental list.

Too many jokes!!!

Why should they protect people who are violating the Terms of Service just by playing the game? I'm fine with playing with people who are not yet 13 provided that they do not act so that they need to be "protected".

You should hear them when they are walking to the bus stop in the morning. And on the bus too. Any time kids think they are no longer in adult hearing that stuff starts right up.

And while I can understand parents and really all citizens wanting to protect kids from inappropriate stuff I think a lot of what I see is being done by those very kids that we are supposed to be protecting.
