do you leave your war loot in CC or collect immediately?

I always tend to pick up the loot. Just too concerned to appear with too much loot to the raider!

I usually leave it. It's better protected and essentially a fifth storage that must be destroyed. Unless I have a ton of loot that puts me at the cap I'll collect it.

I have a method when it comes to this!

The clan castle % that can be stolen is smaller than the % that can be stolen from storages (half as much I believe). So I will leave that loot in the clan castle unless my loot is already capped out. Once you are over the cap for your storages adding that extra loot into your storage won't increase the amount that someone can steal from you. The clan castle has no cap, if it is in the clan castle then it is available to be stolen, always.

soooo, if you are over the cap for your TH move that loot over to your storages, otherwise it is available to be stolen.

I've had elixir sitting in my war CC for awhile now, just because I'm always full on elixir. I can't spend it fast enough even If I do make high cost troops + spells. It's pretty sad at TH8... -_-

I always collect it immediately. The Spoils of War achievement measures how much gold has been transferred from your CC to your gold storage. If earn 300k gold from a war it goes in your CC. If your CC gets attacked so that 270k gold is left and you then transfer it to your storages, your Spoils of War achievement only goes up by 270k. Since earning 100 million war gold is one of the most time consuming achievements in the game, I always drain my CC immediately so that I won't slow my progress on the Spoils of War achievement. This sometimes means I have more loot to take then if I had left it in my CC, but I am willing to risk a little loot for faster achievement progress.

I always collect as I mostly get zapped while sniped and the cc de adds more to potential de losses than if it was just in my de storage.

If you don't need it leave it in there. The percentage people can take is really low.
