Ok. We all want to have gems. Right? If you answered no, go and jump off a cliff if you answered yes, you probably want daily challenges to get free gems and resources. so.........

Wow, what a way to introduce yourself to the forum.
Fastest way to get gems is with a credit card. If you do not have a credit card, wait for your accumulations of gems like everyone else. Supercell gives almost $70 worth of free gems through achievements, not counting obstacles and gem boxes.
They also gave you a free game to play.
Why is that not enough? There are games out there that dont give ANY free premium currency much less over $100 worth of it and always growing.

A)thought has been made time and time again. And time and time again for the years after the original thought. So search for ideas and post comments on the other posts before creating a new one #cleanuptheforums
4)Supercell already give us a good amount of gems for free (not to mention a free game) as stated by the previous poster. Think of another reward for this as gems are their only avenue of profit.
and finally 5) Welcome to the forums. Stay calm and don't be too over the top and this could be a great place to get info or help others as you progress.
