If a clan war ends in a tie, the leader from each clan need to attack each other and the winner decides the win for the clan. Ties just aren't the right way to end a clan war after so much time and resources have been invested by each player.

Also not all leaders are the highest ranked, I think the tie-break could be quite skew if this were to be implemented just for leaders, a tie break would be a nice addition however, perhaps give the lowest rank an extra attack on number 1 on the map and the one with the highest damage wins and gets additional loot.

I think (if they were to decide this should be done at all, I am only half sold myself) each clan gets to pick the attacker AND the base that will be attacked. But also, and this might be a problem, you really have to allow a full prep day and then a full battle day. I know kids with nothing in life but games will say to shorten those. But to be fair to the entire community the war just got another 48 hours added. So in that case it should also be a 2 clan decision to accept the tie.
Of course, since its basically another full war period maybe it would be easier if both clans were simply offered a rematch choice only in the event of a tie. (Obviously its a good matchup so no problem with that part) Frankly with the 24 hours to change bases around (since they saw them on the replays now) would be a fun strategy exercise.
What if a leader is lvl 100 et the other clan leader is lvl 50 ?
It would be a good idea but not to have a leader vs a leader....
it's good if we offer the possibility to both clans to accept or not to rematch, if both leaders accept to rematch, in this case each member will have only 1 attack instead of two and without a war preparation day, a direct war will be on...
One clan nominate a representative and the other clan can accept or deny. If accept they must present their on champion and they duel... sorta
