building repair AFTER attack: question

Hi! Once a base has been attacked, I understand that it gets repaired when the player logs in (clicks on the dead bodies, resets bombs, ect). But I have member that has two accounts. He stated he could no longer access his account and another co-leader allowed him membership into the clan with his older account, booting out the newer account that was first in our clan. We had one condition: "please do not use the account you stated that you could not access because we do not like being lied to".... SO, through the last two war logs, a couple of us co-leaders have been watching his base that he had with the account he used when he first joined. This morning is was completely destroyed. A couple hours later: it was rebuilt. Later this evening: it was partially damaged. Here comes my question: Do bases/buildings heal over time? If so, how long do they take when completely destroyed - as in a 3 star victory, like I saw on his base this morning?

Thank you all for your time in answering my question. It means a lot to me, as well as, my clan. We have what we consider a family and wish to keep it that way. Any bad apples are not to be tolerated :)

Not really sure the need to lie about it from his viewpoint but I'm 98.9% sure that the base will look demolished from the last attack until the player logs back on to it.

they in fact do "heal", but not by a player. Say a base is 3 starred. They get their 16 hr shield. After those hours are up and the shield is down, the base is available to be raided again. Say someone comes across that base and only th snipes it. Now, the only thing in ruin will be the th. Since the latest attack "resets" the base and shows according to the result of the latest raid. Correct me if im wrong.

This ^^^^^^^^^^^

after the shield runs out, it auto rebuilds... That's why inactive bases are built when you raid them...

Yeah pretty much the gist of what I said. Last attack done is what the base looks like.

As OP mentioned it was 100% before the next attack, so I have to say that the player logged on.

If this is legitimately a problem for you guys, the solution is easy-ish: take a screen capture of the base (hopefully not when it's in ruins, or at least just the TH is in ruins). Check the base again in a week or so and see if any builders are active or any structures are a different level than when you last looked at it (the screen cap helps here). More obviously would be if the account joined a clan. Another method would be to look at the account's profile and note the gold/elixir grab/steal statistic, that number should remain unchanged if he's not playing it.

The reason it makes legitimate sense is because we have a weird feeling he used us to get his lower account leveled up, as he was the low man in the clan with that account. He is not doing anything against clan rules per say, but we just do not want to be used either..make sense? He's really gloating about his current account, and we are wondering is he did the same to get it to that lvl....hoppers are generally not welcome, and this would be equivalent to a hopper.

You could also check his collectors. If they stay full constantly he isn't checking/collecting from them and if he was still actively using that base there wouldn't be any reason to not check them.

This is the correct answer :) after the shield is over if the owner didn't log on then the base "heals" it's self.
