An idea to solve the cheap shield problem (always online)
Hi,
My idea is simple but I think is effective. Make it so when someone try to revenge a person and he shows as online, make the game send a request to the other person (saying for example "Are you online?") and make that request show in a random position each time. Also make message contain a single small button that says yes with a 15 second decreasing counter. if that counter is 0 then that person is deemed offline and an error message pops and can be attacked
Also make it so everyone can only get one request per hour from any person so they don't get spamed by those messages
the pros of this would be
1- no one can stay forever online like some do
2- everyone gets a fair chance to revenge anyone attacking them
3- give a warning for those who are actually online and that they are being watched and might get attacked soon
Cons would be
1- people who are actually online will know they might get attacked soon and might take extreme measures like buying a shield, which isn't that bad
2- Only works for revenge but not the search thing
