Th8 to TH9 ?

I'm currently TH8 with everything maxed out except research upgrades, and wondering if I should go to TH9? Sitting on full gold and elixir and 5 builders sleeping.

Upgrades I don't have:

Gobs lvl 4

WB's lvl 4

Loons lvl 4

Min lvl 3

hogs lvl 3

Valk lvl 1

Only thing I would use out of that is WB's, Loons, Min. for farms, but mostly plan to level Archer + Giant, Barch, and BAM(only when I need faster cook times). I figure I'll be at th9 for a long time anyway doing walls, so whats a few weeks behind on upgrades. At the same time I've never been TH9, so idk if any of these troops are needed for farms other than WB's... I don't plan to get serious for CW until mid/late TH9 anyway. Should I go to TH9, or wait until the upgrades are finished?

Go to th9! Getting the AQ will help a lot!!!! Xbows as well :) No real reason to completely max out at th8. Just max your troops and defenses, and try to get as many skull walls as possible before the ug.

Definitely do WBs, Loons, and Minions. Maxing them at TH8 is great, as they are all quite helpful for farming at TH9. Loons and Minions for Loonian, and WBs for Giant-based attacks. Imo get them all to max lvl for TH8 before moving up.
While it's true maxing TH8 isn't necessary, Loons, Minions, and WBs are 3 of the most important lab upgrades for TH9 storage raiding. These are 3 upgrades you should definitely not skip.

Definately do the wb's, and I'd suggest doing the loons too, but I think you can do both during the th upgrade time

I would go to 9 if you have maxed everything apart from troops,no point in having 5 builders sleeping

Most of your troops should be L5 by TH 9 or you will be playing catch up your first month or so.

I suggest doing those research upgrades first.. Only the ones you would need though like WB, Loons, Minions etc.

Th takes 10days, lab takes 5days. In this time, u can do 3 upgrades. Upgrade now and choose whichever 3 you want to do

Just going to do TH9 and do golem at same time. I don't have golem level 2 yet, but going to tomorrow when the upgrade I'm on ends. With loons, min, and wb it only puts me 17 days behind, which really isn't that bad. Already I have to level up 25 new walls and new defenses, which will most likely take longer than 17 days to get it to TH8 status. Tesla and Air defenses take awhile. I guess why sit on max storage's, when I could be spending that money on playing catchup anyway. What a clanmate told me, and I concur...

Am moving to TH9 with much less troop upgrades now... Got sick and tired of sitting on full elix all the time, and once the drag event ended, doing drags became a drag too (pun intended). :rolleyes:
