Well if that overrated trash named M******t V****y costs 3.99 USD, Clash of Clans should cost 29.99 USD because this game is 10000% better that that game.

It would never not be free. They make a lot more money by bringing in people for free & then having them pay for gems
If it wasn't free there would be a lot less players and it would be a lot more boring

If it had cost money to play very few of us would have ever downloaded it so it would never have grown into the game it is today.

If it was not free than there would not be everybody playing it. If not all of your friends are playing the game it is not worth much money. The concept of the game is great as it is as well as the idea of buying gems for boosting.

I would say 2.99 UKP, and maybe 4.99 USD. I live in UK so had to mention lol.
If this were a browser game it could thrive with a monthly fee. Id say around 10$ month for premium features (troops buildings boosts ect). This game isnt set up though, in a way that would make sense with a one time purchase.
I'd also guess $4.99, and they would have earned a tiny fraction of what they have actually earned. This game is setup really well for the freemium model.
