Almost max TH8 with a question

hey guys,
I am an almost maxed th8..my question is do I really need max everything before moving on? Maybe I am being impatient but I don't know if I want to max my barracks before moving to TH9..is this really important

As a person who neglected to max just walls before th9, I HIGHLY recommend maxing EVERYTHING before moving on.
traps barracks troops spells walls defense etc

I regret not maxing my walls when moving onto th9, its a very good deterrent against attacks.

I only have two maxed barracks to make Pekkas simultaneously - even though I've never made one. The other two are one level below.

I would only recommend maxing your dark barracks from a war perspective. TH9 uses a variety of dark troops to achieve 3*s and making the longer to train troops from two barracks instead of one saves a lot of time.

So to answer the question - it is not essential to max barracks before moving onto TH9.

Yes. If u are a hardcore farmer. Troop training would be faster with those extra spaces.
MoreOver its not gonna hurt u to upgrade upgrade that barrack during the upgrade time.

If walls are the only thing left (maybe unwanted lab upgrades too), your builders are idle, and your elixir storages are spilling over, you should not max walls before going to TH9. Your elixir will go to waste instead of going to wall upgrades which would probably cause more harm than benefit in the future

Im currently a TH8 aswell, when I upgraded from TH7 I was totally maxed, walls and all.

Exceptions being:
Collectors, I think I have 9x lvl9 and 3x lvl10 Pumps, could care less, absolute lowest priority.

Dark Elixir Upgrades: King, Minions, and Hog Riders were still lvl1, easier to get DE at th8.

Barracks: 2 were maxed at lvl9, but 2 were lvl7. Saw no point in making them lvl8 bc I never use Healers.

As far as TH8 goes I plan to max ALL defence buildings, max all traps, atleast 200+ walls lvl8, king lvl10, and all my Lab Research done except for Valkaryes l2, and maybe Golems l2.

Barracks depend on what you use. I would like 3 that can make Dragons, 2 that can make Pekkas. Maybe for you 2 Barracks w Drags and 1 w Pekkas is okay.

Maxing both Dark Barracks to lvl4 will come in handy at th9, atleast have one at l4 and the other one at l2 to make Hog Riders.

Misc things like DE Drills, DE Storage ect MAXED, which should have been one of the first things you did at th8 anyways.

As far as collectors I only upgrade while waiting for the TH and absolutely nothing else to upgrade, some people would recommend atleast lvl10, some say to get to lvl11, or even max to lvl12 so they are done and u will never have to worry about it again.

I hope that helps, most people arent as patient as me, atleast maxing out all your defences and finish atleast 80% of your Lab research before you even consider TH9 is my opinion though.

You should get all maxed, when you'll have TH9 resources in multiplayer attacks will decrease, so you could have many difficulties to upgrade buildings, troops etc
You'll have anyway to upgrade all your buildings (we hope!), so don't be impatient and play having fun and not hurrying
