At what point did you start doing walls?

I never consider the step of upgrading walls before TH9. I upgraded my walls to skull at the end of TH8 after maxing all defenses aka get ready to upgrade to TH9 at that time. Somehow found myself almost puking after doing that step. So, at TH9 I upgraded my walls as much as possible between any building upgrades which I found it so fun and enjoy to do it. I recommend every clasher who can easily get bored through the times to upgrade walls to use this tips. Clash on! :)

Walls are never high in my priority list. I do them only after maxing defense towers and/or have excess elixir while the lab still working.

I do them before defenses. I still have th7 defenses but almost full legos and a core of lavas

The day 1 I get to a new townhall level I start upgrading walls whether 2 or 3 walls it doesn't matter. The concept is finishing walls with defenses or with a small difference between them. I've been like that since TH4 and now I'm sure it is successful

I always dump my excess gold to walls and just keep 100K gold for nexting and rearm. It is the most efficient way.
eg: Im TH8 and if I have a 3M upgrade with gold (tesla lvl6) and have 5,700,000 in my storages I will do 5 lvl8 walls before that upgrade.

Just never dump all your gold into walls because you cannot hit next.

Whenever you unlock them at th2 or th3

Started doing them when I started playing a bit more. Just upgrade walls with excess loot whenever I have a builder free. Say a 4m upgrade next I would spend 4m on walls before starting it.

Currently maxed troops and def TH10 grinding Heroes and Walls.

Ok...My point where I start upgrading walls is a bit strange :p
After I finish all my splash defenses,air defenses and teslas,I start to do walls,ignoring the point defenses,because yolo!

I dont even care about walls. I´m a TH 10 with mixed lvl 7 & 8 walls. Currently in Master 2 and still winning defenses because of those inferno towers. Dont forget that bases with low lvl walls are more likely to get attacked by people who are not so skilled at attacking.

I did mine when I had gold to spare ( or elix, for the few months my walls had the option). Mostly prioritized defensive buildings.

Might do it differently once I hit th9 though. Reading a lot about how doing walls before buildings might help in getting an easier war opponent.
