Skin on my Fingertips are peeling off b/c of Clash?

Hello. I'm fairly new to clash (started 2 months ago).

I have a 4 year old iPhone 4.
I play clash about 2-3 hours per day in long stretches. So sometimes 4 hours total in one day.

During this time I have to be charging also and my iphone gets hot. I use a fan to cool it.

For over a week the skin on my fingertips, especially my thumbs and index fingers, is peeling and flaking off.
To the point where I can see red exposed flesh.
And this morning I see a small dot of blood on my left thumb.

What is happening? Is this actually from playing games on my iphone too much?

Help!

Im guessing if its anything like a guitar, youre developing calluses. Maybe keep your screen really clean and let it heal over. The new skin will grow over even thicker so it'll happend less with the bleeding and all.
Also playing while charging runs the battery out, shortening the lifespan of the battery. Maybe try not to keep the game open while charging and only open the game to do things like raiding.

Whoa, dry skin dude. Hydrate, exfoliate, and use lotion. My 4s gets pretty hot but I don't have that problem. Not at all.

I don't know how you could damage your fingertips on a smooth surface. You must clash pretty hard. Anyhow, it sounds like someone needs gaming gloves. Or perhaps time away from the game... :rolleyes:

Yeah its nothing compared to a guitar, but not everyones skin is the same. Also it might be from the heat of their device and sliding their fingers across can peel away skin

Unless you've kept your fingertips in such pristine condition your entire life, never touched a single thing with them, and your skin is softer than a baby bunny's butt, then no, Clash is not damaging your fingertips.

You seriously need some lotion dude.

I am not developing callouses.
I know what callouses are and usually my fingertip skin is strong as old leather.

But for some reason the pads of my fingers are raw.

No but seriously they are sensitive to heat and red as tomatoes.

It looks like somebody cut off the outer few layers of skin with a dang potato peeler.

Nothing about my lifestyle or diet has changed.
Just this game.

Are iphone 4s supposed to get hot during gameplay? Is that normal?
time to buy an iphone 6 Plus?
