Just a lot of lower people use lightning... TH5, 6, 7, and some 8 uses lightning... 9, 10 use rage... Just thought I would throw it out there....

Its has to be rage or heal, but since heal spell is unlocked earlier and is more appealing in farming strategies i chose the heal spell.

I think heal, i mean overall is one of the first spells so you would use it alot.
Lightning at town halls 8 and below. Rage at town hall 9 and 10
Well rage is probably the best spell, but heal i would say is most used.

Zaps... for cc troops, one last building for 50%, DE tanks... such a versatile spell, I rarely leave base without one.
lightning for 2 reasons
1. its the first spell, so all those little th5s use it
2. most importantly zappers
Lightning for new players. Zappers gonna zap.
For me, it's freeze for war and heal for farming.
Most used by me? Heal, still a hogger at heart but overall I'd have to say rage.
No question. Heal spell.
Rage is only useful for attacking infernos (which is why they have the freeze spell), or high cost strategies like All dragons or balloonion. Heal, however, can be used on heroes, barch, giants, wizards, etc etc. I used lighting on mortars when barching, or when using baloons at a lower townhall level to destroy the air defense(s). I occasionally use jump to get my barbs/giants into the storages, often accompanied by a heal.
I would say lightning for sure, it has so many different uses.
*Zap final 1-3% to win.
*Take out cc troops.
*Double tap mortars.
*Triple tap air defences.
*Get DE. :rolleyes:
I always have 2 with me, to do all of the above bar Air Defence obviously.
All I ever really see people use is Rage
Farming i always use light spells(no zapping)
Rage : Its the only spell that has significance on virtually every Town Hall Level...:D...
For regular gameplay I'd go with lightning, lower THs and inexperienced players often use regularly as a (albeit extremely inefficient) way to farm DE, and higher THs use it to take out mortars and air defenses. It has the lowest spell cost (I think), and is tied for the lowest time, making it quick and cheap for all those low-cost farmers. Not to mention, it's also great at taking out CCs full of archers when pushing or in war, or at getting the extra couple % to push a 0-1 star attack to a 1-2 star one.
Lightnings and heals costs the same and take the same amount if time. Those that use a rage or lightning while farming still have their barbs die in 2 hits of a mortar. The heal spell is particularly effect here as it give your mass barch army more time to do more damage. But this isnt a thread on whats more useful, it a what is used more. And with the reasonings i think I'll stick to heal spell.
while the lightning spell may be included in a lot of armies, it has been stated as what it is, a just in case i need it spell, or in other words, a spell that isnt used every raid as opposed to the rage/heal they also brought.
Rage is definitely the most used. Most people are th8-10 right now, and that's where rage really shines. Also, rage spells work well with most army compositions. Mass dragons, gowiwi, gowipe, lavaloonion, loonion, etc.

Depends on your level. Obviously lower down it's heal and lightning but as you start hitting 100+ bases with double infernos and high level central hero's it is vital to have a decent freeze spell or 2. I always go 2 freeze, 2 rage and 1 jump. Heal is just no use compared to these spells for a GOWIPE attack in war
Heal by far but the poll says differently.
Those who try high lv Queen with mass healer rely on Freeze to disrupt the doom [Inferno] towers.
Although was funny seeing one try on my base earlier and fail, Teslas popped up at the most awkward time as Healers activated it; Queen had already moved ahead. It shot 4 healers down before the Queen got there. At that point the healers could not out heal the max x-bows hitting the Queen. :)

Lighting spell is available to more of the coc pop than any other spell. Because of that fact alone have to go with that.
In my last 10 defenses in M3 Lightning was the most used. The answer is lightning.
The correct answer is lightning imo.
1. Everyone has access to that spell even new ths that only have 1 spell
2. Its one of the favorites for people farming
3. At th 7/8 (I assume more bases are in these two than anywhere else active) you can use 3 lightning spells in war to blast an AD and get a sure 2/3 star.
Now I understand that personally I use rage spell the most in war I rarely use it when I'm farming (light or heal instead). And I know at the very top of the game freeze/rage are probably the two most popular spells for war. So if the question was which spells is used the most at high level wars then my answer would be different.
I wanted to give a vote to freeze spell; not unlocked til TH10 but VERY useful at that point. It is used in almost any GoWiPe or GoWiWi (and often Lavaloonion as well). If defender has a condensed core, freeze is a game changer.
I honestly thought heal as it comes back faster than the other spells. I use it alot when I farm faster producing armies.
Lightning -
Kill CC troops (weak ones)
Zap Dark Elixir (although fairly inefficient)
2 for Mortar (BARCHing)
3 for Air Defense (Balloons or Dragons)
Versatile but costly (3 just for one AD or a little DE)
Heal -
Amazing for Giants and Hogs
Great for when multiple PEKKAS/Heroes are being hit by splash damage
NEGATED by inferno towers
Rage -
Amazing (and necessary) for high level Dragon, Balloon, and GoWiPe attacks
Almost every troop can take good advantage of damage or speed boost (or both)
Used consistently in most war/pushing attacks once unlocked
Jump -
Helps move a GoWiPe attack into the core of a base
Useful for various troop compositions (most versatile spell?)
Not a game changer once unlocked the way Rage and Freeze are
Freeze -
Primarily for Xbows/Inferno Towers (especially when tightly bunched in a town core)
Practically a necessity for high level TH10 attacks
Only need 1 or 2; allowing space for 2 or 3 rage/jump/other
