I need a good tactic to get to Masters (Town hall 8)

I know I may be a bit early but I need the 1k gems, I only need 1k more until my 5th builder and I did not buy any gems. Right now I am sitting on only 500k elixir but I have 2300 trophies. It is getting really hard to win raids with barch as many people have xbows/inferno towers/etc. Does anyone know any cheap but good raids? I have 11k dark elixir and am ok using ALL OF IT as my base is literally giving it away. I want people to snipe it and end raid but that is starting to stop happening as people snipe my storage and 1 star the base. I really need a better base but this is not the place to talk about it so if anyone has any cheap but good strategies let me know. (My troops are all maxed th8 etiquette but I have level 2 dragons/pekkas/all dark elixir troops are level 1 but my minions are level 3) Thanks! ;)

Find easy air bases to drag. (Low AD, ground xbows, etc etc,) AaroNero did a playthrough as a townhall 8 going to masters and worked out for him using mainly dragons.

i think snipe th is the only effective way to reach master for th8
as of other strategy take too much time to train,(gowipe/dragons etc)
and every single time your village got raid,its almost certain defeat

There are a lot of hoggable bases out there. I was in the same boat as a th8, got to 2300 ish and then went with hogs to 2700

I went to champ at a th8 while my th was going to 9. I went barch all the way to c2 then from there I th sniped and had go wipe on bases I can get 2+ stars. It's hard but worth it. Also make sure u keep in mind your going to get 3 starred a lot.

I've never got 3-starred in my journey to masters as a th8. Just try to revenge people if they have th outside and go for snipes. I used to snipe and mass dragons low level air defense bases until I got to masters.

And the best way is 1.> Find a best trophy base (You can copy like mine in legendary troop i am leader just visit or look my post in this forum) 2.> Dont give up to snip town hall 3.> Take revenge agains thos player who has higher trophy(do drag attack if u want to go quick) and if u want more tips u can join my clan ..Thnx and hope this worked

So, as a level 69 th8 who got to master 3 today, I believe I am probably the most qualified to help you out. First of all, your town hall better be outside your base completely unguarded. This is because, there are lots of other snipers out there who suck at clash even more than you do (not saying you suck, just saying they're worse). They will snipe your town hall, and leave. You will only lose 4-11 trophies, and get a 12 hr shield, and don't have to suffer a crushing 30 trophy defeat that will set you back an hour. Not even traps. If a burly th9 or 10 comes along and originally plans to just snipe and go, DO NOT HAVE ANY TRAPS. If you do, then they will destroy the town hall, probably get mad, and proceed to steamroll the rest of your base. Next, on the offensive side, go for snipes. Snipes get more rare past crystal 2, but they are still there. However, keep some heavy duty troops with you. If you see a fellow sniper along the way, crush him with those troops. I use 2 lv2 dragons, 16 lv4 balloons, and 40 lv3 minions, with 3 lv3 rage spells. I also have a barb king level 4. If I see an exposed town hall, I use minions or my barb king to pick it off. If hidden teslas and other traps show up, I have the dragons, barb king, and balloons to furiously take down the town hall. If you come across a fellow sniper, preferably with some archer towers, wizard towers, or air defenses upgrading, by all means attack it. Send out all your balloons with a rage spell, then the other two rage spells when they split off each other (some will go one way, some will go the other). Then send out your dragons and minions, barb king only if necessary. This is guaranteed to get you at least 50% on a mid to low end th8 or worse, no matter how well protected the town hall is. Getting to masters takes time, not skill. That's the thing. That's why there are so many excellent players who cannot seem to reach masters. Crystal 1 is easy. Once you get there, make sure you have 2-3 hours at hand and just snipe and raid the weaklings. By the time you need to be finished, you should be in masters. Hope this helped.

As people are saying to snipe, do not do that. It takes way too long going with increments of 6 trophies. Revenge attacks with drags, snipe if you see but don't search exclusively, and put your TH outside. TH9's will wreck any trophy base you can find.

I recently pushed to Masters, myself. Best attack strategy that doesn't cost 350k elixer. 14 Wizzies, 80 Archers, 7 WBs, 10 Giants! MUST TRY!!

Barching should be good enough, but I got lots of 49%s, and I switched to mass drags at 2300. Easily got there, but used a lotta elixir.
