I call it the queens defense

Well x-bow means crossbow, because the x is short for cross, but no one will know what you are talking about if you call it a crossbow

I call it . . . . crossbow. That's sad.

I call it the big scary thing that doesnt actually hurt that much. My queen carries a more potent one.

Due to the obvious fact that they are cross bows, I would, if ever talking out loud about such things, refer to them as cross bows.

I call it by its name. Xbow.

And so the debate continues :p
I think of a crossbow as the handheld mechanism that fires bolts.
But THIS! This is an X-bow.
