I just bought 14,000 gems and i have three options i can do pick which one is more beneficial(I already gemmed my collecters)
Option 1 I have 200 army camp spaces- I could start upgrading all of them so then i will have 220 army camp spaces.
Option 2 My Clan Castle is level 4. I could gem it till level 6 so then i can hold 35 Clan Castle troops.
Option 3 I could gem Wizards to level 6, and gem Pekka to level 4, and gem golem to level 4
Personally, I wouldnt gem resources. You are much better off boosting and raiding for them at a fraction of the price.Quote:

Army camps,well,you can save up for.And 200 spaces fine on easy bases that give you lot of troops.And there aren't any troops (maybe 1 or 2 I think)that need 35 housing space,and even if they are,they are probably too rare to donate.But imagine stronger troops will help you through out the whole game!
Option 3 definitely.
If you are TH10 then get the camps to 240 space is prolly best use of gems IMO. or as the other poster stated, boosting sessions of Barrax SF, Royals...and grinding out the upgrades that way..Quote:

Not sure about your troops, sounds like you War a fair bit given those choices, Pekka, Wiz, Gol imo
if you don't already have it the 4-5th builder huts are the no 1 priority for gems.

Have you built all 5 builder huts? If not, that should be your first priority.
I would say that you should go for the Camp and clan castle. More troops = bigger chance to win a raid, bouth in wars and in normal attacking.
Wizards are not worth the upgrade from 5 - 6 but the Pekka does a difference from 3-4 :-)

I like troop upgrades, since it helps others in your clan too since you can also donate the upgraded troops...
Get all builders and gem heroes- upgrade them
Resources aren't worth purchasing. Like other people said, getting all 5 builders would be the top priority. Then you can boost your barracks and heroes and get 5~6 mil resources per session, then use gem to skip upgrading time if you find it necessary.
If you don't have Archer Queen, it would be arguably the only army you should get by purchasing resources (40k dark elixirs) because it helps tremendously.
You will also need a good farming layout. For early TH9 I recommend funnelling type of bases like Ringus or Mirage. Keep your trophy range as low as 1400~1600 if your defence is weak. After you have lvl 1 of everything, wizard tower is the best defence to upgrade for protecting resources. But if you are an active player, you should prioritize offensive upgrades whenever you have excessive elixirs.
