Hey, how about you learn how to design your base so that can't happen, then walls will be worth something to you...
Hi there!
The reason that this is happening to you is that theres empty spaces inside your base. Try checking out new base designs to combat this. That way you won't lose your hard earned trophies or precious loot. :o
Check out this sub-forum: http://forum.supercell.net/forumdisp...ase-Design-101
Any gap that is at least 3x3 will allow troops to spawn in it (2x3,2x4 wouldn't work, but 3x3,3x4 would).
Also note the teslas and traps do not count as buildings for spawning purposes so someone could spawn right over a tesla if it is sitting in a 3x3 gap.
Go go fresh spawns!
They do have a point. It is very counter intuitive to allow troops to just drop in from no where behind any and all deployment gaps inside base walls as if some kind of air trooper or teleported person, or as if some kind of temporary ninja or speical ops solider that forgets how to be subtle upon breaking cover.
Since obstacles don't block anything, and one newbie had one of those huge rocks in his base, I dropped most of my troops there. It looked like it was either a 'Rock of Barbarian Spawning' or most of the 180 some troops were ALL under the rock, hiding, before filing out like some geological clown car. (was a great sight)
Nothing in the game's theme that I can see can explain away why this is possible, and just throws people off. Most everyone just accepts it, with some exploiting it, and others trolling with it. But I can see some balancing reasons as to why gaps are possible. If those gaps weren't allowed, one could claim larger areas of land than one had the right to. They could just wall off some or all of the field with walls, with some mid to high level people easily having walls to spare for other things. It would be a sickeningly common tactic, making deployment hard for everyone.
Anyway, it seems like Supercell made the important choice on that topic years ago, and into what we know today. Blocking those gaps would be a big change to the game, as bases could then claim large areas of land to block deployment.
