Welcome in my thread. In this thread I will talking about my journey.

Note:This is not the guide! I don't want to become famous or everything, this is not the praise! I just want to show others my journey and my experiences about maxing base :) Thanks for understanding

Feel free to ask anything I will answer as soon as possible ;)

So if we start from begining. I started to follow my journey on 30.12.2014, 6 days after I started my lava walls (lvl 10 walls). Since 1 gem boost event from Christmas my farming changes a lot! I farmed more gold and elixir ( and DE to ) than anytime before!
I started to boost my barracks every day once ( only 2 barracks ). Of course I'm talking about boosting after Christmas event ended.

1 week after I started lavas I've done 35 lavas thanks to 1 gem boost event. Also I nearly reached 1 mio. Heroic Heist.

My journey contuines, I've done some lavas and also upgraded my King and Queen on lvl 19 and lvl 17 :)

I'm late with this screenshot, I missed the time when session ends so I took screenshot on 5th February :) I've done more than half lavas now, only 97 remaining. King is lvl20 and I using him in wars now. Queen is going to lvl 19.

Only 65 lavas left! I finished with my DE upgrades for TH9, AQ going on level 20, golem upgrading on lvl4 :) I'm almost ready sweet TH10, only Lavas and push left :)

1.2 When to upgrade on TH10 (only my opinion)

Here is the big question for a lot of players which are half maxed TH9 or better. Should I rush or I shouldn't rush? That's the BIG question.

My opinion.

There are 2 ways to do this right.

The first one

If you are hardcore farmer and you've done all lavas, but you lab and base is not maxed. I would say MOVE ON TO TH10! On TH10 you will have better base protection with infernos, 3rd xbow and so on.
If you reached all lavas, then upgrading defenses shouldn't be the problem for you. But there is a thing. If you playing wars then you should have at least lvl 4 golem, lvl 2 witches and lvl 3 pekka. But depends on each player style and attacking. I hate pekkas I will not upgrade them.

From my experience. Every TH9 base fall against Lavaloonion, if not with Lavaloonion, then it fall with GoWiWi on 2 stars ;) So I suggest to upgrade Lavaloonion (Loons,Hounds and Minions), and GoWiWi (Golem,Witch and Wizzards).
For heroes I stronly reccomend level 15+ for both! So 30+ combined. For perfect result I suggest lvl 20+ Heroes.

The second one

You have max defenses and troops but your walls are lvl 8. On this point I suggest upgrade on TH10. The same case as in the point one. With TH10 defenses you will be much stronger. The worst thing is, that you builders sleep once you finish with current TH upgrades. It's all about time. I've seen a lot of peoples in master 1+ legaue with lvl7 walls, and some of them doing great job, but you will be raided much earlier than with lvl 9+ walls ;)

1.3 My goals for future

-As TH10 I will try to farm in mid crystal or master

-And for my heroes: On TH10 I will max Queen to level 40 first, in this time I will use King in wars. Once the Queen will reach level 40 I will start upgrading King

-For walls is my goal to do zapps (lvl 11) on TH10 as soon as possible

As you can see I'm TH10 now :) I thought that loot will be much worst on TH10 but I found it amazing to farm with BArch between 2200-2300 trophies+legaue bonus is sweet :) Also loot was amazing so I made 7 zapp walls in 2 days as TH10 :) They look so sexy :caticon:

As you can see I did my job as new th10 very well. I easily handle all upgrades, no workers sleeping+I doing zapp walls. I found it amazing to farm in master 2+ legaues, so I upgrading both my heroes straight to level 40. Now both are 23.
Walls are going great :) Also I'm both gol and elixir Billionare now :)

In this session I tried all legaues between silver 3 to master 2. I must say that gold 2 is the best after update, if you want to farm elix and gold. But if you need DE, then gold is not good. Still the best legaue to farm in is Master 3.

I'm progressing with walls very fast, I'm not even focused on them, because my main priority are Level 40 Heroes. Also on this pic, attacks and donations are low, because I took picture after session ends ( total around 360 attacks, 3k donations).

My hero levels:
-Barbarian King= level 30
-Archer Queen= level 33
I manage to upgrade both heroes at time, but now I'm focusing on my queen. I gem her time on 2 days, in this time I farm enough DE to upgrade her.. So around 70k+ DE every day. :)

Farming is easy to me, I tested push 2 weeks ago and I came from 1800 to 2425 trophies in 8 hours (2x2 rax boosted)
I can reach master 3 in 2 days, maybe in 1 if I will barch to there.
And yea then to champ. I will have around 20 days to become a champ ( my TH10 will be finished then )

I found it very easy to push from 1800 to 2500, but once you get around there it gets almost impossible to find anyone who isnt a TH10 and has lvl 3 infernos. At that point I moved my TH back outside and began farming again to finish upgrading everything. It seems a lot easier to push to champ than it actually is... Pushing with Barch? Forget it once you get up that high... You will be using war armies every attack
