All witch raid spell advice?

Hey all-
I will have my level 2 witches in 9 days. I have been watching videos of th10 raids using all witches and have noticed a big discrepancy in spells. Should I use 4 lightning to take out two mortars and one jump to get over a wall, 2 jump, one freeze, one rage, one lightning, or 5 rage?

Primarily going to be doing this for clan wars against th 9 and 10 opponents .

I have 220 troop capacity fwiw. Planning on 18 L2 Witches and 4 barbs. Not sure what to have in cc- maybe wizards? Hogs? 30 troop castle

Depends on the design of the base for sure. Ideally you would pick a target with Single Targeted Infernos (no Freeze required). Jump or Lightning depends on the layout and level of walls. I would argue that Heal would benefit this set up more so than Rage. Witches Raged could run ahead into Giant Bombs. As Skeletons are in the blindspot of Mortars, Witches are likely to be targeted by Mortars. A Heal Spell in the core can save you from disaster caused by Mortars outside the core.

Ive done 2 all witch raids both were the same combo 10 wall breakers the rest lvl 2 witches. Clan castle was 2 witches and 3 wbs. Used 2 jump and 2 lightning. Used the Lightning on the closest mortar. The first raid was a disaster the second was a three star. Both raids were on near max th9. On the successful raid I spread the witches out across one side which worked well. On the failed raid I bunched them up. It's not a great strategy but when it works it's freaking awesome! Also I have very good heros which helps a bunch.

Niether of these raids were in clan wars. Imo it would get shutdown hard in clan wars.

I am assuming that you are doing this just for fun?

I would agree with the jump spells and maybe two lightning. If you are actually trying to just do a massive witch raid, but it does not have to be only witches I would customize the army a bit, maybe some hogs or loons to pick off some of the spash damage buildings? Maybe witches/Barbs to add some meat on those bones?

Ive a buddy that does Mass Witch raids in CW.. it is a sight! he usually does a mix of Rage and Heal.
and typically deploys them from one spot. (also does 18 witch variety) its pure chaos!

Ill suggest two things;
1, Spread them about one side so the skellies can distract and cause mayhem. as mentioned potentially1 Giant-Bomb away from a lot of Dark wasted and a fail...
2, Get a Golem in the CC and maybe bring a few Giants too (or a 2nd Golem that you cook up)

So I recommend; do 15 Witches, (180) 1 Golem of your own (180+30 = 210) and req a Golem for the CC then fill the rest with what ever; 2 Giants/Loons/Hogs or couple Wiz n few Barbs/Archies..

Rage when they approach the TH, Heal around splash tower's radius.. then watch the fun!
its a heavy toll on your Dark, but its awesome to see.

Check timestamp of YouTube videos. From what I read witches' position to skeleton spawn was decreased by one tile. That's all it took to stop mass witch raids on max th10s.

Thanks for time stamp tip- we had it used against one of our th8 or 9 in clan wars- easy 3 star.

I planned to use it to clean up lower bases or a th10 that has been reconned in clan wars- maybe not the latter now...

You can see in another post I have made that i am desperate for stars against built th9 and th10 war bases. If it's not tight and hoggable it is a ♥♥♥♥ shoot for me on cleanup or initial attack. It seems as though more people are designing anti-hog bases so I thought these witches would be the answer to my difficulty with gowipe and dragoon attacks.
