Make valkyries take one or two less spaces in army camps.

Yep, just make her take 7 spaces preferably, though 6 wouldn't make her TOO powerful. Title was able to hold the entire suggestion, so I guess I'll say a little on why.


I know Valkyries have been buffed time after time again - damage being increased, taking less time to train, and utilizing their whirlwind ability further - however, I've found that the Valkyrie is still modest in her use given the cost and utility. I've also noticed she is a very unpopular - being used less than any other troop (except maybe goblins >.< Of course, I may just be mistaken, but I don't think so). They're quite expensive and take a reasonable amount of time to train, but I find that the army camp space being sucked up by them is a bit excessive. Just one less army camp space per Valkyrie would be much more reasonable, in my opinion.

At 7 space per valk, a TH4 could have two in their CC, instead of just one. That would be awesome!!!

Other than that, I honestly have no opinion.

I call my Valks "Town Hall Killers"

In my GoVaWiWi attacks (5 Max Valks) if you know how to do it, you get your valks into the core, that TH is done no questions asked.

I'm sorry, but does this mean you don't support it because you find them sufficient or are you just commenting that you do indeed use Valkyries?

Either way, thanks for feedback.

Less space would make them more expensive unless you also adjust the de cost. A good valk strategy utilizes only 5-10 valks which isnt a whole lot of space considering people are bringing 2-3 pekkas in other strategies. Now a faster attack doing half the damage like archer towers is a good buff to get for valks. Just not sure less space would make them balanced.

That's a good point by a technical sense, however the idea is that it just makes more room for other troops. If they're more valkyries, well I guess that's not a problem.

However one point of it is so more can be in clan castles, as 8 spaces for a valkyrie in a clan castle can be of questionable value. From my experience with valkyries for defense, they aren't especially better than archers, wizards, dragons, etc. unless a group of giants are there - in which case, two wizards perform better anyway.

However, I'm glad that you agree valkyries need a buff at least!

As probally the longest time user of Valkyrie, this has been a change I'd hope for since before the AI change.

Changing their housing space would make them too strong IMO.

Also I wish SC would address their attack glitch. Where they deal zero dmg if their original target gets destroyed in mid-attack

That may just be a fair point, as even one housing space can make quite a difference, however I find that for their cost that it'd be proper.

Many people would prefer 2 wizards to 1 Valkyrie for good reason, after all. They can tank quite a bit with good damage, but they tend to run deep into a hellstorm of defenses with their whirlwind ability as I have seen it. 1 more space per Valkyrie would make doing something like an all Valkyrie raid more expensive and more potent, but of course most Valkyrie strategies use more troops.

While I'm not necessarily well versed with using them, I can say that it'd definitely put them in a worthwhile place. I suppose it could be argued that it's too worth the cost, but I don't think it will end up that way in practice.

Regardless, thanks for the feedback. I'm open to hearing other ways to buff them, but I find it hard to agree that they are just right as they are.

i think valks should just spin constantly like a tornado. so they deal damage to everythign around them just by walking around.
