If you view a village that has been attacked and destroyed, please make a button that would toggle between current view (damaged) and regular/ scouting view instead of making us wait until shields are dropped or player is online to see what it is supposed to look like. It is easier to see the entire village than to click each individual pile of rubble to figure out what building is there.

Why would you care how much a village is destroyed? Plus there are alot of missing pieces in this idea to begin with. If you really serious about this I would explain yourself more.
I seriously want them to implement this because when someone wants to join my clan, I would check their village a few hours later when I'm online and their village is destroyed and I have no idea what it looks like.
another example is if you want to revenge someone, you check their village to see how strong it is and whether it is worth waiting for to attack, but when it is completely destroyed and you can't see their base, it really sucks and you end up waiting forever until you forget about them.
Yes, imperfect lion summed it up. If I click on another player's base, and it is destroyed, I have to click each individual icon to see what that building was. If I am visiting another clan member's base, I want to be able to see what the base would be in it's regular state. A toggle button between "current view of village" and "standard view of village" would be a great way to do this.
