I have a nice idea for a trap against golems.
Hi guys, allow me to make a new thread even though I haven't checked every single thread about traps against golems.
I presume that golems are made of stone from their appearance.
So what if there is a trap which turns them in to a big chunk of rock?
Details
This trap should look like a melting pot.
When a golem steps on it, the trap stops the golem from moving and turns it into a 3x3 rock obstacle.
It should cost tons of gold to set it up and require 3x3 empty space to place.
You can set only one of this trap in your map.
This trap should be triggered only by golems.
It doesn't get triggered by other units or doesn't harm other units.
By making this trap so big in size, it should be able to avoid defense being too overpowered.
If you choose to set this trap in the critical part of your base, that means you are taking risk of other units being deployed right on top of it.
If you choose outer part of your base, the probability of this trap catching golems is lower because your enemy can come from any side.
Golems are very powerful units that cost a lot of your resource&time&space.
Therefore, the trap against them should be equally high risk.
High risk high return is the basis of strategy game.
