I was wondering how a clans total clan points come into play when it comes to finding matcbes for clan wars. do they come I to play? If they do, if a clan has a lower amount of points does it help find better matches? My clan always seemsto get outmatched when it comes to clan wars and our searches take us well over 2 hours to find anything, only to give us a match that over powers us.
They only come into play when you are competing to be one of the top clans at season end. Even then they only benefit you if you are one of the top players in the clan and receive gems. Even then they don't benefit you because in all likelihood you have millions of gems already. They have no bearing on wars at all.
If you are referring to trophies - they have nothing to do with war
Points are determined by trophies. Read:

Trophies do not factor into clan wars except for determining who is eligible for war.
