Maxing TH9 vs Upgrading to TH10

I have all my TH9 defensive buildings finished, skull walls completed and have about 50 lego walls... All useful troops upgraded (didnt max healer and valks, dont use much).. my BK is leveling up to 16 now and queen is 15...

I play, on an average, once every 2 days(i am pointing this out to avoid answers like you can farm 100K DE daily and finish heroes in few weeks)... i used to play like a junkie before but more a casual player now... I have 5 builders and they are generally are free now

Do you guys think it makes sense to max out fully (all lava walls and lvl30 heroes) before i upgrade to TH10... I will definitely get both of them to lvl 20 and a few more lego walls by then...

If for ex there are is one more person exactly in the same situation like me and upgrades to TH10 and I dont, who do you think will max out first?

Hit the upgrade button. Try to get some more walls done during the 10 some odd days it takes to upgrade. Sounds like you are pretty much ready for th10

But do you have any idea who would max first in my hypothetical scenario of someone who upgrades and someone who doesnt?

Im at the same point but my queen is currently going to 12, once she's 15 im going to th10. Im hoping by then i'll have done all my legos but if not I may hold a little before going. Level 15 heroes are just fine for th10.
A clanmate of mine went to th10 before me with lvl7 walls and lvl10 heroes, he's now got nearly all max troops and defenses and is now way ahead of me (after being behind). He's still got a ton of walls to sort admittedly but it wont be too long before he can just focus on them

To be honest there is not a lot of stuff to do once you reach TH10... you should be done soon too... you got 2 rounds of Archer towers and one round of all other defenses... you get one xbow,AT and cannon extra i guess... then there are infernos... so all put together you shud be done with your defenses quite soon... in the meantime you can do your lab and troops and other stuff...

My only concern would be that grinding out walls and heroes would be tough once you reach TH10 as the loot might be too less... right now am in gold league and I find TH8s with about 1000DE most of the time... i am not sure if i can get that once I reach TH10...same applies for gold and elixir... it might not be easy to find it

Yo, just upgrade your th :) i was in a dilemma like you, i had slightly better walls and hero levels, but i went th10 anw, cuz i got bored of farming. now at th10, my two infernos are otw to level 3. just got goblin6 and archer 7. now planning my next upgrade...(probably teslas first). you get an extra drill so means more de to upg heroes. once u have ur infernos lvl 3 u can move up to higher league to farm for bonus. im also a casual player like you now and it is perfect cuz each upgrade takes ~10 days avg.

to answer ur question, moving up to th10 may get maxed out faster than if u stayed.. btw dont worry about th10 loot. go gold1-crys3

I think the guy that does not wait till all walls and royals are maxed will finish first. I have all my d maxed at th9 and have been debating the same question.

i will be upgrading without worrying bout my walls and royals being maxed prob in 3 weeks. After hearing complaints of how bad the loot penalty is at th10, ill get my mines and collectors done, then. Go.

so if all u are waiting on is walls and royals, UPGRADE!

maxing royals at TH9 is a waste of time. I had to try for DE at TH9 and was happy to barch 1k de without using spells. Now at TH10, I average 2k de a raid without even trying. Got both royals upgrading none stop at low teens and max out de storage when they finish.

hey work on lavas and finish them as well as you will finish your Heroes!

You sound pretty casual playing only every couple days, do what floats your boat.

I'm almost where you are at, only archer towers and a couple cannons left before I've maxed out my th9 defenses.

I've decided that I'm going to get all my legos before going th 10 and get my heros at least level 20 to 25 before I hit the button. This is fine for me, I get most of my enterainment in this game from interacting with my clan and clan wars, so I don't really mind staying th9 a little longer.
