Honestly you can try the forums but unless you have a really good set of players, you have to use global and get lucky.

I often have recruits coming from nowhere since the search was imporved, and i sometimes go to general just saying hi. The black badge and my level seem to be enough to have a few join requests.
I have almost no bad recruits, some wont stay for long but not much silly kids. I am surprised and pleased to see most 14-16 years old kids being nice and respectful. Most of the time adults are nice aswell.
- Unique/smart/cool clan name
- Professional clan description and yet again unique
- Persuasive recruiting speeches for global that are smart/unique/cool
- Having high clan donations is a must
The list could go on but this is just a few
Open your gates and set your trophy requirement at a decent level. If you're looking for TH8 I'd suggest anything in the Gold region for exampleQuote:

Ive had the best luck recruiting friends and family and then having them recruit friends and family.

Core members of my clan are my real life friends and families. Others are players i knew from my previous clan. I also have players from global, and some from clan we defeated that break apart
Global (not recomended), forums and social media.
I used global chats to recruit. But other co-leaders in my clan said they recruit lots of high level people from this global they called north.
If you're a high league...just spam on global and keep denying requests until someone decent come up...Quote:

I had a similar problem. I had a clan with 120 wins and couldn't recruit goood active th8+. Its because they are all in other clans. I decided to start allowing th7s in and such so i could teach them how to raid etc. If they weren't active i booted. There are so many th7s looking for homes. The active guys eventually made it to th8 and we've won 30 of our last 32 wars. We went from 15 to 35 man wars with a clan of 45 people. Bestbof luck
Oh and these active young guys recruit in global all the time sonyou can dobother things.

Thanks guys I tried here on the forums no one ever looks at the dope threads I make and global is hard to find what I need. I need mature responsible ppl so most likely adults hard to find anywhere actually I even made a clan commercial

I have recruited a few from global, but it's knowing where to look.
If you change your language settings in the game to "Norsk" , you'll access their global instead which is usually always full of a better class of player, and rarely kids arguing or looking for dates!
Some of our best members came from inviting clanless people in members leagues. Just check them out first to make sure their stats meet your requirements. Could also try inviting clanless people from your defense log. Since we became a level 5 clan, we do not need to recruit much. People come to us.

I get members 3 ways -
1) Personal referrals from members
2) Folks who find our recruiting thread in Looking For Clanmates
3) Folks I write personal, non-cut and paste messages to on "I need a clan!"
The key there is non-copy and pasted. There are a ton of those and they are pretty but that is it. Use PMs and give a concise message for folks to latch onto with a link to your recruiting thread.
And do not recruit off of global. Well maybe at first but be prepared deal with a ton of turnover.

Why not lower the minimum level of players you accept? This increases the pool of talent you are choosing from and you can develop the players how you want. Teach them to play the game your way. Darc Avengers has been doing this for the past 9 months. I was a lvl 23 TH4 when I joined. You don't have to go quite that low, but it made me into a strong player and very loyal member.
I find the following works:
- Just talk to people instead of actively trying to recruit them.
Dont spam "join me join me join me" and other copied and pasted adverts
I have recently made a clan website and seems to be going down well
I agree with that, instead of spaming global chat with join me...better try to having a good conversation first...a bit time consuming o course but you might get a good member afterwards..

people will get intersted if you have a high lvl account yourself...we started from a circle of 10 with my friends...worked our way to TH9 before we expanded...now we're at 50...
after 1 yr of playing i got to lvl131 and having an entry lvl th10 base...by having clan lv5 i don't have any problems donating max troops like wizzies and witches for farming...

Another place you can try is reddit, I have recruited a fair amount of decent players from there. The trick to recruiting I have found is to make exceptions and train people. Its difficult to get top tier players if your team is not up to par. Good luck man, it is an uphill battle.
i somehow always manage to find that tons of people join my clan. a few days ago someoen premoted someone who just joined to co (by acident) and that new guy kicked everyone who wasnt co then the new guy left. then 1 or 2 days later i find that we r once again full with 50 people! its weird.
