Can't believe i am getting myself involved in this. But can't just walk away after seeing this ridiculous thread misleading people. If you want to rush your game that's your choice, you shouldn't really go around saying that's the way to play the game.
And if you think maxing out is foolish because you will still get thrashed easily by higher lvl players, you are a fool. That's how the game was designed to work. There is nothing you can do about it. I am a th 8 player and most th9(maxed) easily take what they want from my base. But most th7 players will hit next as soon as they see my base. And i would do the same for maxed th9 base.
If you follow the OP advice, you will most probably end up at th9 with a lvl 1 BK and farm for a few weeks just to get the xbows and AQ. And that won't make any difference when th8, other th9 and th10 players attack you.
This is funny to me. I see both sides of the coin. Maxer or Rusher it doesn't matter its a style of play not something set in stone. Yeah its true rushers like myself might be an easier three star, but on that same note there are so many other Maxed defenses low level wall Th 9's that are "2 star warriors/Core divers" get a 2 star with GoWiPe and actually think they did good in war. It goes both ways with this argument.
I chose to rush and not start defenses right off the bat for two reasons:
1. Had too much loot no place do dump it. TH 9 provided a place for me to spend extra loot.
2. I wanted my attacking skill to match my TH level. I would hate to be a maxed defense th9 that can only two star other maxed th 9's.
Why do you rusher hate on gowipe so much i will never know. It can be reliable attack when youve hero down for upgrade.
There is alot of gowipe variation too, using giant, hogs or loons for 3 star. Ive seen it during war this style can rekt max th9 and 2 star mid th10. I will have max th9 lavaloonion soon and gowixxxx as back up for land attack. Im pretty happy with that.
Because 2 stars vs TH9 and below is a fail in war vs a good clan and that's what gowipe is made for. Most rushers are aggressive players so if they are serious about war then they won't settle with 2 star strategy. Also gowipe takes ages to max just to consistently 2 star compared to other 3 star options, very inefficient if your goal is to help your clan win more wars.
You don't have to max everything but your crazy if you don't at least get somewhat close at each TH. All your doing by not maxing is opening yourself up to getting all your loot stolen by a much greater % of the people looking at your base. At the same time your delaying the enevitable - your going to have to upgrade your D at some point. Most of the dead bases I see are bases of rushed premies...coincidence? Nope. Dudes quite after getting frustrated by getting flattened everytime they get a decent amount of loot that their level 3 wiz towers can't protect. Think about it.
You are right. Maxing out at least your splash defences is a must before you upgrade your th... Maxed out wizard towers one shot Max archers of similar th lvl... I have lvl 6 WT and they one shot lvl 5 archers. But when against a WT of lower lvl i can get around that by using a heal spell...
Couldn't have said it better. Also Astalavista. I said GoWiPE, which is what I see most Th9's that don't know how to attack use for easy 2 stars. I didn't say Gohowiwi, or Golowiwi, Lavaloon (viable three star strats). All the things you mentioned that could be added are not GoWiPe any more. Too many Th9's with great defenses lack the attacking knowledge and just do as Morgauth said attack for 2 stars against Th9', which in my eyes is a fail as well
You are partially right. GoWiPe is probably overused by guys looking for some cheap loot along with a few stars to go with it. But lacking attacking knowledge and rushing your base are different. If u have the troops you can always learn how to use it effectively. But there is no going back on a rushed base. Most of the th9 rushers ignore dark troops completely. And pretty much all attacking strats involve dark troops once you hit th9. Most of these rushed bases struggle a lot to just get the AQ.
