TH9: Two X-bows or 1 X-bow and other new things

I'm currently upgrading to TH9, gathering resources for the transition and I'm on the dilema of instantly buy both Xbows and have 2 builders gone for 7 days or just buy one and use the other builder for walls until lvl 6, giant bomb, both seeking air mines, new archer tower and new Air Defense. I know its 96 k more Gold but since its nos immediatly that Archer Tower is build I'll manage.

What is the general opinion on this.

The other builders will concentrate on offense (Lab, Camps, Archer Queen)

I would have both xbows building asap it would just be better imo.

I just did neither option. Army camps and spell factory. My priority is offense at the beginning of TH9. I'll go for upgrade CC before I'll grab the x-bow with gold.

I suggest this..... which wasn't part of the poll:

Builder 1. Laboratory
Builder 2. Clan Castle
Builder 3. Spell Factory
Builder 4. Camp >Camp >Camp >Camp
Builder 5. New buildings/walls/traps

Xbows actually suck at level 1, so unless you plan on upgrading to lvl 2 right away you might as well wait until the other buildings I mentioned are upgraded.

Also, I know its exciting getting brand spankin new xbows but if you wait you won't regret it.

This! Great advice, you most definitely want to boost up those farming units and any offense possible. That way upgrading ALL defenses will be easier in the long run.

As an almost maxed TH9 that didn't do this, it took MUCH MUCH longer to get to where I am.

I upgraded to TH9 about 8 days ago, and I basically went in this order...

Instant -Archer Queen and all the other free (timewise) upgrades first.
Instant - Spell Factory (I gemmed since I was going right into a war)
Instant - All new walls to Level 6 (pink)
Builder 1 - XBow #1
Builder 2/3 - Army Camps
Builder 4/5 - New structures to entry level

Once my new structures were built and I had a free builder I bought a second X-Bow. The other free builder I used to upgrade my AQ to Level 2 and then started on the clan castle upgrade. I then cycled Builder 2/3 for the next round of Army Camps.

I decided against the lab immediately since I still had some troops to upgrade and I preferred to allocate my elixir towards the camps (220 capacity is huge). My next move will be to upgrade the lab and bring all my walls and new structures to TH8 maxes. Hope this helps.

Offense >>>>> defense... If you can farm better you can easily get more money for those xbows! You can only lose 300k each at a time ish at the beginning of your TH9 journey. That is nothing if you farm a lot. If you don't farm so much and you just collect from your collectors and call it the day, then I would recommend xbows first.

Do the CC instead of any xbows, you wont have much loot to protect in the beginning anyway. Upgrade offense first
