currently i am in 2500 cups crystal 1, trying to get to masters and barching there to farm league bonus.
however i find it pretty difficult to get 50% even in 2500 cups, is it even more difficult in master league?
i am TH9, my barb and arch both lv6, 220 camp space
AQ lv20, BK lv14 currently upgrading.
Are you asking if it gets harder or why is it difficult? It's really about base selection. It is quite doable to barch to champs but I prefer loonion.
You're most likely just hitting the wrong bases, I'd strongly advise watching some sort of video to learn what you should be targeting then put it in practice. Eventually it just becomes second nature to what type of layout/base is easily barchable for the 50%, goodluck.
because you are attacking maxed TH10s with tier 1 troops.

I think I have a better answer. Remember that update that readjusted a lot of hitpoints for almost all buildings? I have noticed getting the fifty percent got harder after this update when I was pushing to masters quickly. It still worked but Spells, clan castle, and heroes were essential.
Im a th10, 235 capacity with lvl 6 barch.

I am pushing to Masters with Vawipe on a pair of boosted barracks(including one db) and spell factory. It takes 30 minutes to attack for full 3star trophies(If you pick the easy bases with good loot too).
Without boost, it takes 2 hours.
Now you can barch thrice an hour for 1/3rd trophies, but there is always a chance of a -30 loss(Unlike when using Vawipe).
I was in masters 3 bamming league bonus.. I mostly hitin up th9s getting the 50%. Just like what everybody says make sure most things are outside I didn't really count but what I did try to see is if all the collectors, army camps, barracks , BH were outside. Also if the heroes are close to the outside I wouldn't really attack it since troops will be lured to them.. it's doable you just have to find the right bases..
Barching for 50% in Crystal 1 and Masters 3 is really simple, I pretty much did it up to 2600 without breaking a sweat. Then, since hitting masters on Saturday, I've been farming up and down between 2400 and 2600 with loonion, making hella DE and solid gold as well, with enough elixir on the side to keep my elixir pretty steady around 1.5 mill(I don't have any more elixir upgrades at Th9 except walls, but I'm focusing on my heroes right now).

I don't use barbs any more in Crystal 1/Masters 3. I just use 230 archers with a couple of lightning spells just in case I get stuck on 48,49%. It's not difficult and as has been mentioned just be careful and don't choose bases because of loot. It's the layout that matters - in fact that's all that matters in relation to getting the win which is how you make this pay. Some obvious tips -
1 - You only need 50-70K to make a profit due to win bonus.
2 - Make sure Xbows don't cover outer buildings and hopefully Hero's and splash damage central too.
3 - I deploy both hero's on the same side with BK first. Great meat-shield for the AQ to mop up behind him.
4 - Most obvious tip! Forget the totals of gold etc unless it looks as though it is in the collectors. You wont get anywhere near the storage generally.
It's not. I use it for my lazy farming.

you must not pick out the right bases. I barch farm with 150 barb 4 wb rest arch. Im sitting at 2600 just farming loot bonus atm really easily. U gotta pick bases with low level splash damage or splash damage thats deep in base and wont affect ur attack. Also look for bases with queen down and preferably king down :) if k and q are up its likely they will have a cc too so try avoid that!

I just got to masters yesterday by attacking normally and having my town hall in the centre with not much loot available in my base. I also left a gold storage outside as a little sweetener. Woke up 2 days in a row to find +50 in trophies from trophy droppers. I'm a mid-ish TH10 though, and if you're TH8 or below people might be tempted to attack you just for the loot bonus.
Because archer towers shoots twice as fast. It does suck but it makes sense that supercell would make it harder to push with the most basic troops in the game.
on choosing the right bases...same with loonion...the only troop compo that you don't need to choose much is gowipe...
can practically 2s any base if you're good attacker.
