i had a few ideas, one would be a fire trap, when troops step in to them, they become engulfed in flames, burning other troops with them, chard pile of bones, for the remains.
how about a small blast after the air defense is destroyed . lv one bomb blast.
skeleton dragons, shooting the inferno ray from their eyes.

after the unit is destroyed, it explodes, with a 1 tile blast, to the unit that destroyed it.
may just be enough to finish a giant , this unlocks at lv 3.

The ad idea where it explodes after it is destroyed wouldn't actually be that bad and i can see ur reasoning , the troop idea... no sorry XD, but i do like the trap where the damage could be spread among the troops, however it should only last for a short time.
I want Pekkas that can walk through walls while carrying the Archer Queen's X-bow. Not OP at all. Oh, and they're immune to Tesla's.
