Elimination of unhelpfulidea titles
I think there should be a forum rule that allows (along with when they come for the ruled out ideas) eliminate any idea that does not state in its title what the idea actually is. Here is a partial list (a full list is impossible) of examples of titles that should be immediately removed
- Idea
- Clan Wars
- Please read
- Best Idea Ever
- Greatest Idea ever
- Anything that is the anything 'ever'
- Urgent, read this NOW!!!
- Next update
- We need this
- I want this
- Do this right now!
- It over
- Please
- Just a thought
- Now!
- Fix
- Why can't we do this?!?
- Etc...
There are server keywords that would be terrific to censor out of titles with hearts like swears and other things. Better yet, have it refuse to accept an idea with any of these words in the title.
- "ever"
- "Greatest"
- "Best"
- "Important"
- "Zap"
- "Idea"
- "Now"
- "Urgent"
I am sure other forum members can suggest more useless titles or keywords to censor.

I think they should filter any INF thread that fails to meet a certain word count criteria. 50+ words seems to have meaning and thought behind it. There a bunch in the Troop/Spell requests that are 1 sentence.

Just don't comment on it and rate it one star, the same way people treat spam bots, or maybe post a reminder without anything related to the content

Also, while we are filtering, how about blocking the response " wrong sub-forum" ? Especially if this is the entire reply.

if you know the answer then just answer the question. If you don't, suggest someone " try the X sub-forum, you might have better luck there"

yeah, most well drawn out ideas usually have a good title, unless they just don't know what to put. I like making up titles. Bland titles bore me to no extent

Who cares? If they can't be bothered then they don't deserve getting read or being allowed the space that could go to another idea that has every bit of chance of being valid. A lot of people skip over them already, this would just stop the page from being cluttered by them and leave space for titles that point to what might be another good idea.

Most ideas repeat so someone else will get it in there.
