Hi pantu, i don't think you read the thread title. It was not "do you think hounds should be nerfed? And if so, how would you like them nerfed?"

Hounds are as OP as hogs were (against th10). So, as other people complained about hogs, i believe we should complain about hounds. Look at the poll, 68 people want them nerfed. You forgot to add that to the "real poll" that you created. Next time, please, please, PLEASE read the thread title!

I read it all right. It says: "How would you like lava hounds nerfed?". People, who do not want lavahounds to be nerfed, could vote on it, and it does not mean they don't think they are fine as they are.

I did not vote on the poll, but for the sake of argument, let's say I voted. Even though I think they are fine, I could have voted that I want them to be faster since that nerf will make the least damage. It's not coincidence that it is the most voted option. I believe they way you made the poll is very misleading and that is why I had to make clear how many players voted against a nerf. :)

I don't think that 68 people want them to be nerfed. Your poll does not say that at all. And by the way, next time please try to answer the requests that your forum mates make. Some people asked for other options (e.g. they are fine) to be included in the poll, and you chose to ignore them, which is not polite to say the least.:cool:

Wait... You do know that you can't add poll options after you've created the poll? Right??? I know that you're new here but you know that right? Also, if hounds get to the centre too quickly, the outside defences will target loons killing more. So I guess you do want a nerf, just only a small one?

Edit: also if people had voted to say they want them nerfed in this way but actually want them not nerfed, it is still less than 50% of all votes... So the majority of players want them nerfed because they actually want balance, not to be able to easily two and three star th10s.

I wish they would only target air targeting defenses. Last war I had 1 archer tower left and one cannon left. If my hound would have gone for the archer instead of the cannon my last 2 loons would have stayed alive for the 3 star.

You are actually defending this poll as being even remotely useful? I genuinely hope you are just trolling us for the laughs. Equating hogs and hounds is ridiculous as well, for all the reasons people have listed in this thread. Not to mention the time/cost of the hogs armies was far lower....

I think I saw other players adding more options to their polls but I could be mistaken. Anyway, people should not have to ask what is obvious. It does not benefit the forum such one-sided polls like yours, since players cannot really express their opinions.

Sixty seven players are saying in this thread that they do not want a nerf. I'm one of them. Please just listen to what we have to say. At least, listen to AngryNeeson52, he thinks that lavas are very cute. :)

Exactly, give a strategic base design a better chance. If you don't lay out your base well and have traps in poor positions you deserve to be 3 starred. But when you put A LOT of thought into Air Defence & Red Bomb locations...only to have exploding pups undo all of that it's really frustrating. Give those who plan good defenses a better chance.

That I also agree with. Right now you just do not get value for money with traps whatsoever. Which is where my ideas has spawned from. Over 100k gold to re-arm air defense bombs, they are not giving anywhere near enough of benefit to justify the cost on defense right now.

Indeed, just let good base design get some reward. Players who were clever enough to come up with the double giant bomb trap get rewarded against Hogs. There is no adequate reward for good air bomb placement right now.

Summary
*No direct nerf to Hounds.
*Yes to helping reward good air trap placement & high owing level air traps.
*Yes to reducing their re-arm costs.
