How would you prefer lava hounds to be nerfed?

They are fine, just the way they are, 3 starring a th10 takes a lot of skill, i mean this is just another thread of people complaining because their defense just got 2 stared easily.

Before people upgraded hounds to level 3, and came with quatroloonion and such you where asking for a buff. Now that people realized how to attack you want a nerf.

And honestly most of you complaining that i need a nerf, is because you are getting easily 2 stared / 3 stared(TH9), and cant do the same.

Most in my clan have tried and failed at quatroloonion, and only 5 out of 40 th9s, are getting a consistent 3 star vs other th9s, and thats mainly because of ground xbox and bad desings.

Unfortunatley what many vocal customers want is a base that can't be beaten and they want to hit dead bases so unbeatable bases doesn't concern them. That is so boring. There should be no such thing as an unbeatable base. Then you will get to the end game with nothing to do. Defenses are what's over powered.

I did not vote on the poll because the correct answer of "Nerf them by adjusting your base layout/strategy" was not included. All of the other answers were put forth to drum an inaccurate skewed public support of the OP's opinion. Fortunately it is as transparent as a well designed negligee and SC will see through it as easily as we do.

But as those videos get out (and they are coming every day) those clans who war consistently, and try to get better and win (not just the top ones) will start to do the same thing because the attack strategy is OP atm. Look up Penta LH and tell me what skill is needed there? or if that kind of attack cant be duplicated by anyone. It is about a 5 step attack

As someone who has 3* and 0* in the same war using lavaloonion I can assure you as others already have in this thread. It is not as simple as it looks on youtube. Neither are the GoWi__ attacks, nor is mass dragon or hogs. They all take skill and practice to get right. The other thing they all have in common? They all have defensive countermeasures that can stop them fairly reliably. A savvy attacker will simply notice what you are set up to prevent and use a different one. A poor attacker will stick with the attack that they always use because they think it is totally OP and fail when they hit the wrong base. Near as I can tell there isn't a single overpowered army in CoC presently because they all have an effective counter on defense. Just a matter of nexting until you find one that matches the army you brought to the table.

So, should lavaloonion 3* a base every time? Yes, if the attacker only uses it on appropriate targets. Should GoWi__ 3* a base everytime? YES, if the attacker only uses it on appropriate targets. Should hogs 3* every attack? YES!!! you see where I am going with this? A good player will be able to 3 star most bases by tailoring their tactics to each base.

Not many people go to youtube to post their embarrassing failures, and even fewer people go searching for them once they are posted. You see the top 1% posting their best stuff and want to ruin it for the rest of us. You only think they are all changing to lavaloonion because those are the new videos. They still use GoWi__ , hogs and giants when they are appropriate, they just don't post as many videos of it because they are tired, old news.

As soon as I saw who created this thread and poll I knew I wouldn't be voting... soooo many useless polls from the OP.

And yeah, I don't think they need anything done to them.

Personally I think they should get a buff I think a max hound is not as useful as a max golum with max air defenses dealing out the damage they do

I cant vote cause there is no option for "I do not believe they should be nerfed!!!!"

2. They are faster
3. They are cheaper
4. They have a bit more HP

If anything they should get their cost increased to put them in line with Golems. :rolleyes:

I've been trying to perfect my lavaloon(ion) strategy for several weeks now. There's been a lot of trial and error, figuring out what does and doesn't work. I've had a few 3 stars and a lot of 2 stars, but I've also had my fair share of 70+% 1 stars because my troops didn't target the TH (often my fault for placement), and even a few horribly embarrassing, catastrophic failures that I can't save because my heroes are either dead or asleep. Again, my fault.

The point here is that the attack is definitely fail-able because I target the wrong type of base or whatever the case may be. Like any other strategy, I'm learning which types of bases I should hit with loons, and which types of bases I should stay well away from, cause if I try these, I could fail. However, if I hit a base vulnerable to lavaloon, you damn well better believe I expect 2-3 stars each and every time
