Depends on how much you spent in your army and your donations, and how much loot you didn't get from raiding ennemys out of war during that time.
not if your clan always loses their wars

How much is you army and spell costing you?
My spells are 230k. My army is 220k. So that is 450k per attack. When I make 1M, I make a profit. When I'm only making 900k, I'm even, not counting what I put in war castle and attack CC
As for DE, I'm always in the red. I'm over 3600 per attack, so 7200 total. I'll never be close to that in war loot.
With elixir walls, it's a good thing we can get some good elixir from war.
War is never profitable.......donations to war CC's and making attacking troops is an enourmous expense..........wars are just fun for once a week, everyone is on and chatting and excited.....:cool:
It seems you do not donate much and use cheap armies in cws.
Starting at mid th7 cws is always a loss of ressources. At th7/8 you loose lots of elixir for Dragons and at th9/10 you loose lots of dark elixir for Golems/witches and a lot of elixir for wizards/pekkas spells.
You also should consider all the donations. For me this is nearly 1 Million elixir only for warbases (15 warbases with Dragons, rest with wizards + valks/witches). Then there are all the donations for the attacks. This is also min 30 loons per war.
Then there is the most important factor: time
If I do a 2 hour boosting session I get at least 3 Million Gold and 1.5 Million elixir. If I do wars I am busy much longer with my attacks, building troops and watching the other replays. In that time I could do 2 boosting sessions.
Not for me. I barely break even if we win wars after filling War CC's, donating max troops to lower players for war attacks, my own attacks....
If anything it's too low. Using 500k elixir for dragons and only getting 400k (if we win).
