GRAY LIONS - A low pressure adult war clan

We are an adult clan called GRAY LIONS. We are a relaxed, low pressure war clan. Relaxed doesn't mean we don't take wars seriously, it simply means we don’t have some of the high pressure requirements associated with many war clans. Our fingers aren’t hovering over the “kick” button waiting to press it if you don’t 3 star. We're all learning and not every attack goes as planned. We do, however, expect everyone to be willing to learn and employ 3 star strategies. If you don't know how, we'll teach you. You can learn and grow here without the constant pressure of performance requirements. If you're looking for a hardcore war clan that spends hours in Team Speak or Discord planning attacks, that's not us. We are, of course, always willing to discuss and help plan attacks as needed. We have no requirement to get attacks "approved” by the clan leadership. We use clashcaller to reserve targets and Discord to communicate outside the game. This is a clan for those of us who like war, but simply can't dedicate the time expected by some of the more well known war clans.
We war three times a week. We don't require you to war constantly. Everyone is free to opt out as needed. We're adults with careers and families. We understand real life demands on time prevent participation sometimes. We also don't pressure you to gem hero upgrade times. Most of our members don't gem hero times, but rather remain opted out until the upgrade is completed. If you’re unable to participate in a war, simply make sure your status is red.
We're looking for war focused players with appropriately leveled offense, defense, and heroes. We don't accept engineered accounts. We're selective when it comes to accepting new members just as you should be selective when choosing a clan. The right clan makes the game more fun and the right people are what make any clan great.

AFFILIATIONS: Outlander Club (9GP2YGQG) is a farming clan and official member of the Farm War Alliance (FWA).
LOCATION: The largest percentage of our members are from the US, but we have members from other countries as well. The clan is open to any English speaking player from any country or time zone.
AGE: Adults only please. I realize there are some very mature young men and women out there, but we prefer an older group who are likely to have more in common.
LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: We`re looking for TH10+ with defenses, heroes, and troop levels commensurate with current town hall level.
DRAMA: Any time a group of people is brought together it is possible for disagreements to escalate due to emotions. While nobody can guarantee a 100% drama free environment, the goal is to make the clan a relaxed place to have fun that is as close to drama free as possible. We have realistically achieved this. I can't remember the last time there was any drama in this clan. It just doesn't happen here. No personal insults, name calling, or bullying will be tolerated under any circumstances. Also, no slurs or derogatory remarks directed at any group of people regarding race, gender, etc. will be allowed regardless of context. No exceptions. This will result in being immediately kicked out of the clan.
PROFANITY: With an adult clan, we understand curse words find their way into the chat occasionally, but we generally try to keep profanity to a minimum out of respect for all members.
TROPHY LEVEL: You are not required to maintain any specific trophy level. We have no clan wide trophy pushing. There is no trophy pressure here.
DONATIONS: We prefer a common sense approach rather than any specific numeric requirements or ratios. Feel free to request as many troops as you desire and donate whenever you’re able. We often request heavy troops for raiding or war practice and you’re free to ask for whatever you want. Just be willing to donate in the same manner as you request. Nothing to it. We don't allow troop levels to be specified for non war requests as we want all members to be able to donate, but most donations are max level anyway.
JOINING: We have no complicated application process or "try-outs." Just request to join in-game and mention this post. One of the leaders will review your profile as soon as they are able. We automatically reject any request that doesn't refer to this post as we get a lot of random requests from the wildlings.
