Time since a clanmate was online (HEAR ME OUT BEFORE DELETING)

I think it could really help leaders of clans if they could see how long it had been since a clan member was last online, since clans have no 100% accurate way of telling if someone has become inactive. You may argue that this isn't necessary, but it would at the very least simplify inactivity checking, and when you think about it, no modification to the game is necessary; the game is fun and works well the way it is. Any suggestion on this forum is just a way to improve, not a necessity.

For those who saw this when I suggested it the first time: my previous thread of this was deleted, hence the all-caps parenthesized addition to the thread title. If this one gets deleted, I'll let it die, but it's really not the same thing as the ruled out idea.

Finally, I'd like to address the privacy argument. Before you make that point, consider the following question: How does this breach anyone's privacy? Unless you can explain that, please don't make that argument.

This is game is not on the playstation, most people play this on their phone, on the way to work, some people are online for two maybe three minutes at a time, it's not fair to judge those people, nobody wants this except leaders of clans who keep losing wars

But whatever, I'll bite.....Its a privacy violation to SC because SC has decided its a privacy violation to Sc. If you don't like it don't cry to us. Cry to them. They have the contact info published. Write them a good long letter and give them a piece of your mind. But leave the rest of us out of it please.

To your first point: True, that works, but it could take several weeks before you're certain. Wouldn't it be nice to be certain that someone hasn't even entered the game in a week?

To your second point: While this is valid, you're only able to use it as an online indicator at that precise daily moment. EDIT: Thinking about it, it would never work that way. You'd only be able to tell whether someone'd been on in the previous 24-hour period.

To your final point: I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant that people should not make the privacy argument unless they can explain it. Your arguments were unrelated to the privacy argument, so you didn't need to explain the privacy argument in order to make them.
(And anyway, I'm pretty sure SC made the privacy point about an online indicator, which this is not)

Those people would be unaffected. I just realized I was unclear about that in the main post, but as long as they came on in a given day, their counter would reset at whatever time of day it changed.

I disagree with that viewpoint of going to SC. There probably won't be a good, if any, reply anyways seeing as bans, which matters more than clarifying privacy, get generic messages. Part of the forum's purpose is for people to discuss things so it's fine for people to talk about whether the indicator is a privacy violation. It also helps the staff by not answering repeated or trivial questions

That being said, I don't think that "last online" is a good indicator of activity. Someone might be busy for a short period of time but you can see how active they are in general by looking at donations and attacks per season

There was a recent thread calling for people to stop asking for this and just check collectors like normal people. You can also see their attacks won and donations.

As I pointed out previously, attacks make it so collectors often become inaccurate after a day or so, and I don't care if members are inactive for a day or so. Attacks won are unaffected by war and campaign, and stuff that resets every season can take weeks to show.

I would like to see this happen, but I do not think that it will because it is ruled out. And the GC thing: Not every1 is on iPhones, iPods, iPads, ect.
