I would say out a 48 hr stay period in affect. If you want to jump clans. When you join one you have to stay for 48hrs minimum. After the 48hrs is up you can leave and it will cost you 100k gold 100k elixir and 1000 dark elixir to leave. That would deter people from running around so much.
Just for posterity's sake, this exactly what I'm referring to. Call something a "horrible idea" before it's even begun to be fleshed out. Then make some broad statement about player's perceived "rights" when the poster obviously meant the penalty to be triggered only after severe abuse. Was it a horrible idea? Maybe. We'll never know because the CoC masters of the universe won't let the conversation even occur. Good job sir. I'm done.
How about req and leave clan
Imagine this:
You're looking for a clan. You join a clan that seems ok. The clan isn't active and you leave. You join another clan. Doesn't that count as clan hopping?
You can't ban/nerf people from leaving and joining clans. In our clan, we accept someone and if they are a hopper and leave, we put them on our 'ban' list and when the resend an invite, we reject. I.e. Invite only is your friend.
You are done....again? weren't you done already yesterday like a couple times?
Don't say you are not out for a fight if you are going to resurrect this a day later several pages in to criticize the forum posters again.
The nice approach failed on you, you simply got mad that folks weren't agreeing with you regardless how they said it so you are full of it on your claim that its all about how people talked about you. This was all about you having a tantrum because people wouldn't agree with you.
A simple fix would be for the leader to have the ability to opt people in/out of the clan war. That means he can make a rule such as having to stick with the clan for 2 weeks before being able to participate in a war.
