Way too many clan jumpers

This issue has probably already been addressed but SOMETHING needs to be done to eliminate the habit of many who join a clan and then soon after leave. It is ruining the war process particularly as they join and before the war even begins they leave which is not only unfair to the clan but the mender who was wanting in but left out due to having less trophies than the defector. IF it was VERY expensive to join the clan and a penalty was passed to those who practice this repeatedly it would discourage this practice. Come on supercell! ITs a SIMPLE fix and one that is SO SO very much needed. Thanks for anything you do to Discourage this behavior.

I don't consider this a problem, but even if it's taken as a problem, an entry fee isn't a great idea. It should not be difficult to join a clan; clans are integral to the game.

Well when people are trying to find a good war clan, they find one with x amount of war wins, join, And the last one they one was like 40 days ago. That is just a reason why most people do it.

get a better clan
when i search for a clan i quit the inactive ones

The pile on is kind of harsh here. My clan stopped accepting randoms for reason the OP describes. Which is sad because I was a random to it originally (joined before clan wars started so wasn't as big of an issue). You can't open the clan for 30 seconds without someone jumping in reqing a drag or requesting elder. It's an issue. The OP said he was specifically referring to people that abuse it, not everyone. I'm sure there's a way to disincentivize people with no interest in being in a clan from joining and quitting 10 clans a day.

I still take in the occasional random. I keep my clan on invite only. It's a very simple solution to the "hopper" issue. Adding a fee to join or penalties for leaving a clan are just bad ideas.

Again, you're missing the part about directing it at "those that abuse it". I didn't endorse a fee but if you enter/leave a clan 8 times a day ... I'm sure there's a way to make the behavior less prevalent without negatively affecting good faith clan recruitment.

Whats wrong with leaving/entering 8 clans a day? If you feel like you dont want to be in a clan you should be free to leave, if you want to try a clan out you should be able to without the "fear" of punishment if you leave or the fear of being trapped in a clan you dislike.
